It is the main attraction of the small Saxon town of Gablenz, in Germany. Back in 1844, Friedman Herman Retschke decided to set up an amazing English-style park on the shore of Lake Rakoff with beautiful bridges, alleys, mysterious grottoes, pyramids and artificial rocks. To implement such unusual plans, basalt slabs had to be imported from Switzerland and Bohemia, because there was no such rock in these places. And when there was a need to build a ferry across the lake located in the Kromlau Park, it was this stone that became the main building material.

This phenomenon, incredible in its power and amazing in its beauty, attracts both travelers and the most desperate surfers.
The creator of the giant waves was the atypical relief of the ocean floor near the city of Nazare, in particular the underwater Northern Canyon of Nazare. This depression in the bottom surface reaches almost to the shore, forming a kind of springboard for ocean waves.

The formation of the Wallaman began more than 40 million years ago, when due to a change in the position of one of the earth's plates, the Herbert River changed its course from west to east. The rocks were gradually eroded by water, which eventually led to the formation of a deep gorge with an equally impressive cascade of water.
This is the territory of the humid tropics, which is a UNESCO site, as part of the World Heritage. Camping near the waterfall is available, so staying here will be quite comfortable. If desired, you can admire not only from above, but also go down to the bottom.

The palace complex organically fits into the surrounding landscape due to the fact that its location corresponds to the mountainous terrain. That is why the palace has such an original image. The Vorontsov Palace in Crimea and the park adjacent to it often became a film set. At least 17 films have been recognized by the general public.
In the appearance of the building, elements of various eras and a successful combination of architectural styles are visible — strict English, with a direction towards Neo-Gothic, and lush oriental, neo-Moorish.

A small, extremely beautiful and ancient city is located on the northern rocky coast of Turkey. If you look at the map, you can see Amasra opposite the coast of Crimea. Part of the city is located on the mainland, and the other half is on the island of Boztepe. They are connected by a stone arch bridge built by the ancient Romans. From the shore you can see another island called Rabbit Island.
Russia, Karachay-Cherkessia, Dukkin Lakes
Dukka Lakes are one of the most visited in the vicinity of Arkhyz. Located at an altitude of 2,450 m.n.m., they are opened from the ice earlier than others, for example, Sofia, Zagedan, or lakes near the passes of the Abishira—Akhuba ridge, and later covered with snow, so you can walk here from the beginning of June to mid-October.
There is no "better" time to visit the lakes: in early summer, ice floes still float on the black surface of the lakes (and this is a passion, how beautiful), then meadows and rhododendrons begin to bloom along the shores, and at the end of September, the gorges acquire a bright, saturated yellow-orange color.
All lakes are filled with clear water with a pleasant, blue tint. Sometimes the color of the water surface becomes saturated blue, or even completely black. Standing by the shore, you can see the bottom down to each small pebble.
Turkey 🇹🇷, Karadeniz
Karadeniz is a Black Sea region in the northeastern part of the country.

The weather is too changeable in autumn and spring. One day the sun warms, and tomorrow the snow falls softly.
Karadeniz is the birthplace of many famous Turkish dishes and the national horon dance accompanied by musical instruments kemenche and tulum.
It is more convenient to travel around the region by car, visit more interesting places at a comfortable pace.
Go to Karadeniz if you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy all the shades of green in the wooded mountains, wake up above the clouds and wander along the tea plantations...

According to some ancient legends, ancient warriors representing the Hawaiian tribe Ali'i, as proof of their courage and willingness to stand up for their fellow tribesmen, made jumps from the platform between two streams of the Vailua waterfall.
Vailua is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Hawaii. Vailua radically changes its appearance depending on the amount of precipitation. The best time to visit this spectacular waterfall is early in the morning.
There is a descent to the place where the waterfall falls, which, however, is slippery, dirty and life-threatening. Some tourists pull ropes along the way, but local officials cut them off every time.

Trees over 1000 years old grow on the territory of the reserve. About 50% of the reserve's plants are officially considered endemic (including pre-glacial plants).
Italy 🇮🇹, Vipiteno
Vipiteno is a small town in the Italian Alps, in South Tyrol, located at an altitude of 950 meters above sea level. Vipiteno is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, its name constantly flashes in the constantly compiled various ratings.
The city has its roots in 14 BC, when Nero Claudius Drusus founded a military camp called "Vipitenum" along the road between Italy and Germany.
75% of the city's residents speak their native German. All the signs in Vipiteno are presented in German and Italian.
Multi-colored painted houses with bay windows and stepped gables are the main feature of Vipiteno. The houses look completely toy-like.
There is only one Vipiteno in the old town (but what!) central pedestrian street via citta nuova (via città nuova). Walking through it is like getting into an old fairy tale from childhood. You're just waiting for a gnome to look out of the doorway of a toy house.
Switzerland 🇨🇭, Trift Bridge
In the central part of Switzerland there is one of the longest and highest suspension bridges in Europe. The Trift Bridge got its name from a glacier located on Mount Titlis. As a result of the melting of its lower part in 2002, a small emerald-colored lake Triftze was formed at an altitude of more than 3000 meters. Although it decorated an already charming region, it seriously hampered the electrical work that was carried out in the vicinity of the glacier.
In 2004, a suspension bridge appeared above the lake, at a height of about one hundred meters, the length of which was 170 meters, and the width was 1 meter. The structure swayed violently in the wind, and not everyone dared to walk on that bridge. In the summer of 2009, the bridge was modernized. As a result, the structure turned out to be very reliable and stable - the Trift bridge can withstand up to 500 tons of snow and wind gusts up to 200 kilometers per hour.
The bridge claims to be the scariest in the world.

It is best to visit the lake from the second half of June to September. This place is not very popular with tourists, so you will not meet a large influx of people.
