Imagine what Gold has been screaming actually happens…they turn on the money printer again. How? Inflation starts easing and jobs continue to slowly grind higher. That gives the Fed the ammo they need to act if anything happens.

Again, this is the crazy bullish case and only happens if inflation remains soft despite $100 oil. That alone blows my mind. It’s not the base case…but you have to take it it to consideration.

This is all speculation. But it’s not even the bullish case.

The really bullish case is we start seeing deflationary effects of AI countering the inflationary effects we see at the end of the business cycle which then extends the cycle longer than many expect.

We have inflationary data coming in this week. If it’s soft again, it’s just going to give the market more fuel.
