Liquid staking on a TON. Disassembly.
TON from the sale of kingyTON collection are lying untouched and in order not to lose profitability, I'm always looking for ways to get good interest on them.
At first, I put in TON Whales, but after the smart contract of nominators appeared, I put half in a pool to the TON Foundation. There 40% to them, 60% to contributors. It wasn't bad, as there wasn't much choice, and "putting my eggs in one basket" wasn't right.
Some time later, 20/80% pools appeared, where 80% went to the user, and I moved most of TON to ton.app (to Oleg Illarionov), where they are now.
Now there is liquid staking. For those who don't know, it's the same as the usual one, only if the entry threshold was from 10,000 TON, here it's from 1 TON and you get a "zasteykany TON", each project has its own token name. So far 3 liquid staking protocols have been launched tonstakers, bemo and Hipo, the fourth one from TON Whales is coming.
Let's break down the yield. If we put in nominators 20/80, the profit is divided as follows:
20% to the owner (equipment rental, staff, etc.)
80% to the user. It turns out that investors get ±4.3% of the invested TON and nothing else.
Coming to tonstakers. They use an official opsensors contract. On the site it is stated 4.58%, which is higher than the nominee yield, the essence is the same, only for the fact that you put your TON, you get a liquid TON (tsTON), with which you can work further. For example, you can make transactions or put it in a liquidity pool with TON and if someone will make an exchange through DEX (only STON), you can get a commission on top. Now there is a promotion on farming, for which they give an additional 7200 STON for everyone, but this is a temporary story (until December 1). The big plus is the integration directly into Tonkeeper.
Then we go to bemo, the essence as in the project above, but there 4.24% yield for the last 3 months and its own contract. For the fact that we put TON we get zasteykanye TON (stTON), which can be used as you want, for example, put in a pool on DeDust.io and get more commission on top. But they have a rewards program that gives XP for storing, trading and any other activity with their staking TON. XP can be exchanged for $BMO token, which will be a token of the platform and will be worth something. It turns out that in addition to staking and commission for depositing liquidity on DEX, you will get a bonus in the future.
And Hipo. They were launched only on October 30, so the yield on the site is 4.58%. They also have their own opsource contract. What distinguishes them from their competitors is the protocol commission. It turns out that they do not charge 20/80 like everyone else, but 6.25/93.75. I don't understand why they did it this way, but they win on profitability and staking is made in favor of depositors. There is also a referral program that gives 50% bonus for referred depositors from the protocol commission, that is 3.125%. Among the first depositors will share 1% of their tokens, but there is no information yet.
The only confusing thing about liquid staking on TON is the beta markings on the sites. This is due to the ability to make edits to smart contracts before they are audited by third-party organizations like Certik. Right now tonstakers has 85% progress and bemo has 79% progress. Plus it takes time to fix bugs if they are found. Hopefully after that the beta will be cleaned up and you can confidently give them your TONs for safekeeping.
The point of the post is that by using regular staking, you are losing out on potential extra profit.
It's time to take your TONs out of nominators and staking and pour them into liquid staking, thus earning not only on staking, but also on participation in activities. Where exactly to put them is up to you.

🐋 Honest review on Blockchain Life
It's not ordered, not paid for, so it's as objective as possible.
I will start with the general picture. There are a lot of Russians on the forum. 80% exactly (the organizers confirmed 60%). This is on the one hand a plus - everyone communicates in the same language, on the other hand a disadvantage - there is clearly less money and technology in Russia than abroad.
Almost 60% of the exhibition were miners, or logistics and setup of miners. Sometimes it felt like I was at an industrial exhibition, not a blockchain exhibition. If you compare similar forums, there miners are allocated 10%, the rest is DeFi, security, exchanges and technology. But it's worth noting that there was no scam and pyramid schemes, unlike other forums.
The organization was not all smooth either. The room was large, but here it is, as far as I can see, not ready for such a scale. Take even an ordinary toilet, in which the queue reaches 10 minutes. Then lunch. Kind of ticket business suspects that you can eat at lunch, but you're limited to 80 AED, which kind of equals - water + salad + croissant. Will you be full for the day? Personally, no.
Then there's the connectivity. Internet with a SIM card does not catch there, because poor coverage, and WiFi, which as I understood the sponsor launched, works through one place. All activities were, pass registration, run a bot, send a photo in social networks..... And everyone is standing around waiting for their photo to upload. Dubai, 5G, internet speed is not about Blockchain Life 2023.
The After Party, the entrance to which cost $700, was also so-so. There were no high-profile performances, the DJ played tracks from 2010-2015 and the girls danced. The organizers constantly asked in the chat to make the music quieter, because everyone came there to talk, and it was very difficult.

On TON there appeared a project "House for TON", which is needed to take people's money on trust and to take their money, using technology and Pavel Durov, the director of Telegram, as a cover.
The scheme is classic - buy 5 TON, put it on your account, activate earnings and call more friends and acquaintances. If you buy more, the earnings will be faster. A repeat of the MMM pyramid scheme, only in cryptocurrency.
It is spreading among people 45+ who naively believe that there is earnings and create chats in WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram, in which they attract their friends. This is also a condition for earning money.
Scammers have realized that TONs are made for people and the pyramid scheme starts at @wallet, where users easily buy their first 5 TONs. The @wallet itself is really from Telegram and it is safe, but you then send money from it to scammers.
The project has more than 5584 people in the chat room and they hold live broadcasts every day, telling you that earning is easy, that you will become millionaires and so on. There are 500 people on the air and judging by the avatars, everyone there is over 45 years old. However, only fake people who are involved in this scam are allowed to write and speak.
On the account of the swindler already 5177 $, which he brought him trusting people, hoping that they can provide for their grandchildren. He clearly does not work alone, but with a programmer who writes for him a bot TON PAY or as it is called - TON booster.
Do not send money to this project, you will be scammed. Tomorrow they will tell you that I am the person who wants to stop you from making millions and you will believe them again. But understand one thing, the money you get, someone loses. You are being paid out other people's money. In the end, only the pyramid scheme creator will make money.
💎 *For the TON community. Yes it's mass adopting, it's easy for everyone to buy TON, that's good to see. Yes it's good for blockchain, because they generate a lot of transactions. Yes, there they are also asked to buy premium for 2,95$ to create more chats and it is useful for Telegram. Yes, there have always been scammers everywhere. But that's no reason to remove them from the ecosystem.
Imagine that your acquaintances get burned on this and then say that TON is a scam, Durov is a scammer, and Telegram took their money. I looked at the stories of the contingent who are sending out this scam to others, they cut out videos of people talking about TON and put their referral links in them.
I have already contacted ton.app and the bot was removed from the catalog, the next goal is to familiarize with the post those gullible people who sit in it in chat and spread the pyramid among their friends. Media presence in TON
There are few Telegram channels in TON community, where not news posts are released, but some sort of dissections, analytics, scandals or thrash with memes.
And when new projects come to TON, they try to find an audience for themselves, and it turns out to be quite difficult. They look for channels about TON through ton.app or recommendations, and how else?
And there they are disappointed. There are less than 10 live ones. The rest copy-paste news in all languages and obey the same people, selling advertising very expensive, which has no output. Who bought - will confirm. For 1500$ 40 bots will come to you 😄
And there are only 3-4 channels where you can buy advertising. And I'm not talking about some dead NFT Plus, I'm talking about more less alive and active channels. I am often asked to be a guarantor for NFT or token exchanges to avoid paying commissions to marketplaces and be sure that you will not be cheated. Now this will be done by the swap.coffee project, which is currently in the testing phase in the TON blockchain test network.

🎆 Liquid staking bemo.
Liquid staking in TON, after the appearance of the official standard, began to gain a lot of popularity. For an honest review came the bemo project, which is now the leader among all liquid steaking projects.
I'll tell you right away, when I saw on the site that the smart pins were developed by the team behind Fanzee, I immediately closed the site. However, upon digging around, I found that two of the guys had completely left Fanzee and were now working for bemo and had nothing to do with them. OTC Solutions Resourch in TON
Remember I wrote a post about the swap.coffee solution that is currently being tested in a test network? I decided to dig deeper and see what OTC options are possible on TON.
The first thing that comes to mind is the oldest (December 2021) OTC offering endorsed by the TON Foundation, with mentions in the TON community and Twitter channels. It offers exchange of BTC, ETH, USDT (ERC-20), USDC (ERC-20), USDT (TRC-20), but with a lockup period of 1 year and a limit on amounts - minimum 50000 USDT, maximum 300000 USDT. I periodically write to this person and ask how much he is ready to sell. At first he answered that he is ready to sell TON with 20% discount from the price on exchanges, and now he just answers that there is TON 😄
The second solution that comes to mind is JetTon. They have now made a JETTON buy with a lockup from 3 months to 1 year for any crypto, you can check it out here jetton.investments. No announcements yet, but I checked the performance and everything is great. It turns out that TONs are not sent to the contract, they are just lying in the database as numbers, waiting for the smart contract to perform randomizer and then they are redirected to users. It's a cool and weird solution at the same time, but it works 10 out of 10.

No matter how many posts I write about STON.fi, people still continue to blindly trust them and lose their money.
Yesterday, DEX aggregator from TON Diamonds team launched, where they made it possible to buy their token $GLINT from two exchanges DeDust.io and STON.fi on one interface.
Ideally, liquidity should have been poured into pools on both exchanges and the DEX aggregator should have picked the best rate for the exchange. At DeDust.io everything worked right away and without problems, but STON.fi again made everyone lose money and experience problems.
Since mid-August I've been writing about the fact that if there is no liquidity in pairs, people exchange a lot of TON for few tokens and lose their funds. That we need to make a stopper, fool proof and generally prohibit such transactions if there is little liquidity in the pool.
And yesterday everything happened again. When the sale started, people prioritized changing the exchange in the aggregator to STON.fi and conducted transactions, thus there were cases when a person bought for 2190 TON 3.5 $GLINT or for 200 TON 0.000000122 $GLINT. It turns out that while STON.fi had problems with liquidity, people lost more than 2686 TON ($5560 or 557 thousand rubles).
Moreover, when people started throwing screenshots with such exchange rate into chat rooms, STON.fi representatives answered "swaps have been done, everything is ok, and we are not responsible for someone else's interface". That's normal.
And here it is important to understand why this happened. You can blame TON Diamonds for giving STON.fi a choice without liquidity, but in fact, STON is to blame because it was not possible to fill liquidity in the right proportions. And as long as people kept exchanging, they couldn't add liquidity. It would seem that pouring liquidity is as simple as possible, especially when there is no token on the market, but alas, STON.fi had problems here as well.
While STON was resting, DeDust.io made $33k of trading volume in the first few minutes after the start, and a day later it was already $329k, when STON had only $50k for the whole time.

The project Tongochi, which was one of the finalists of the Hack-a-TONx DWFx AWS, came in for an honest review, but did not make it to the top three.
To be honest, I wanted to understand all the intricacies of their game project and I didn't expect them to be so huge. At first I started poking their bot, not understanding at all what was going on. At first it seemed to me that I was going through some quest, but then the menu appeared and I thought that in front of me was a regular Tamagotch, which increases level if you play with it, walk it and feed it.
Then I opened the documentation and realized I was wrong. I went to the web version, ran around, helped monsters and realized that this is already RPG something, and not just a bot in Telegram. It is there that NFT farming and other ways to earn money.
Today they also launched an event for 5M PET (± 2700 TON), where you need to actively play, do quests, farm items and trade. In general, the quests are simple and there are even instructions on how to do them. This is a kind of AirDrop for active players, because after the end, on October 18, is expected to be listed on exchanges and in xRocket.

After TMA was announced at #token2049, almost all projects started to change in this direction.
