Stakers can stake their stake to contribute to security of the modular tech stack.

Projects from other blockchain can pick and choose which tech stack to use but they will have to stake some IOTX

Projects from other blockchain that want to get their devices verified can pay for the ioID and this will be burnt

1st burn - to get an ioID
2nd burn - to get a verifiable credential for the ioID

hmm there might be more on top of these burns. It can be hard to understand for us lay people.

ioID will be launched this year tentatively, hopefully it'll be a lot clearer then

For the current mechanism? Yes there are. Registration of Pebble and Ucam, and the burn amount depends on which phase we're in. There is a table for it.

The next mechanisms will include ioID activation fee burn and gas fee burn
