In the Baltic Sea, Swedish authorities boarded the Panamanian flagged ship Hui Yuan.
It was sailing from the Russian port of Ust Luga carrying coal. The reason given was suspicion that the crew had washed coal dust from the deck straight into the sea. That could break Swedish environmental rules.
Earlier Swedish authorities had already stopped the tanker Flora 1. They let it go once they confirmed no Russian citizens were on board. Right now two other ships stay held.
The tanker Sea Owl I and the dry cargo ship Caffa both have Russians among the crew. Their captains have been taken into custody.

"The bloody 'civil war' of chimpanzees may shed light on human conflicts": The destruction of habitual social ties led to a civil war among the monkeys.
"Scientists have for the first time documented a process resembling a 'civil war' in wild chimpanzees - a previously unified group split into two warring camps, between which regular clashes, often with fatal outcomes, began. The study, based on years of observations of a population in Uganda, showed that after the split, social ties collapsed, and former allies began attacking each other, including killing adults and offspring.
The causes of the split could be the death of key males who maintained ties within the group, as well as its excessive growth, which intensified competition. Researchers note that this case helps to understand the evolutionary mechanisms of conflicts - even among humans' closest relatives, group identity can quickly surpass previous cooperative relations and lead to violence."
