Today is a reminder that all occupations of the Holy Land shall come to an end, just as Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn defeated the Crusaders after 88 years of oppression and injustice.

In this ninth and final instalment of A Boy Named Justice — a unique Islam21c-CAGE International project, authored by Zimarina Sarwar — Shaykh Adel Abdul Bary revisits some of the most painful moments of his two decades behind bars, in Egypt, the UK, and the US.
And we hear about how life after release has been a totally new challenge, one where he has become a guest in his own home, rediscovering himself, his wife, and his children — many of whom were too young to remember their father when he was taken away.
We pray for the true victory and freedom of all those that are wrongfully detained or treated unjustly. At 63 years of age, Shaykh Adel Abdul Bary has lived up to his name; he is no more a boy named Justice, but a man named Justice.
