Tashreeq: The Concluding Days of the Hajj Pilgrimage
The days of Tashreeq are the three days that succeed the day of Eid Al Adha, the 10th day of the Islamic month of Dhu Al-Hijjah.
The reason behind these days being named Tashreeq, is because traditionally people used to dry out the meat of the animals that they had sacrificed during Eid over these three days.
In Arabic the word “tashreeq” connotes drying something out. Another theory is that “Tashreeq” relates to the Arabic word “shuooq,” meaning “sunrise.” The reason being that, as per the tradition, the animals that are sacrificed to be eaten over these three days, are not to be slaughtered until sunrise of the day of Eid Al Adha.
During Tashreeq, Hajj pilgrims spend the night in Mina. In addition they cast stones at the Jamraat, which is symbolic of the stoning of the devil and they may also travel to Mecca before sunset on the twelfth night to partake in the farewell Tawwaf, or circumambulation of the Ka’aba.
For the duration of these three sacred days, pilgrims are encouraged to spend their time in prayer and remembrance of Allah.

رجل صالح تزوج بامرأة صالحة لكن لم تخلو حياتهما من المشاكل حتى وصلت إلى الطلاق ثم تزوج بأخرى ولم تزل المشاكل بينهما حتى تطلقت الأخرى ثم تزوج بثالثة وبدأت المشاكل من جديد فقال الخلل بي أنا ووالله لن أطلقها! فذهب الى المدينة ٢٥ يوماً وبدأ بقراءة سورة البقرة وماأن ينتهي منها
حتى يعيدها تارةً أخرى وهكذا طوال الخمس وعشرين يوماً وفي اليوم ال ٢٥ وصلته رسالة من رقم مجهول تقول ان في بيتك سحرا! فترك الرسالة وشد العزم بالقراءة مرة اخرى ثم أتته رسالة أخرى تقول أن السحر موجود بالصالة! فلم يأبه وأكمل القراءة حتى وصلته رسالة تقول
أن السحر في النافذة التي لم يفتحوها أبداً! فركب السيارة وعاد الى مدينته وفتح النافذة ووجد عصفور صغير وفيه عُقد السحر فذكر الله وبدأ يفكه ولم يرى بأس بعدها!

Four recommended supplications from Maghrib on the Day of Tarwiyah (dhul hijja 8) to Maghrib on the Day of Arafah (dhul hijja 9)
لااله الا الله وحده لاشريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شي قدير ١٠٠٠ مرة
La ilah ila allah wahdah lasharik lah lah almulk walah alhamd wahuwa ealaa kuli shaiin qadir 1000 times
- There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs the kingdom, and to Him is the praise, and He is capable of everything 1000 times
سبحان الله والحمد لله و لا اله الا الله والله اكبر. ١٠٠٠ مرة
Subhan Allah walhamdulilah wala ilah ila Allah wallah Akbar. 1000 times

Yahya ibn Bukair narrated to us [saying]: al-Layth narrated to us from Yunus from Ibn Shihaab that Abu Salamah said,
“Once Allaah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, ‘O Aa’ish [i.e., Aishah]!
This is Jibreel greeting you.’
So she said, ‘Wa alaihis-salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu. You see what I do not see.’
She was addressing Allaah’s Messenger [with the last sentence].”

Dua for the Day of Arafat
The Messenger (ﷺ) said:
“The most excellent dua is the dua on the Day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the prophets before me have said, is ‘There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner.” [Muwatta Malik]
This particular dhikr, or way of remembering Allah,
‘There is no god but Allah’ is commonly known as the Tahlil (meaning rejoicing or jubilation).
When you make dua during Dhul Hijjah, and especially on the Day of Arafah, face the Qiblah and raise your hands in complete submission, ask Allah for all that you desire from Him, ask sincerely for His forgiveness and call out to Him.
Be sure to repeat this dhikr frequently:
لا إلَهَ إلا اللَّهُ
Lā ilāha illā allah
“There is no god but Allah.”

In a school, a teacher wanted to raise the morale of her students, so she decided to give them a test. And she promised to offer, for the best note, a simple and symbolic gift, ie new shoes.

The surprise was that after collecting the papers, everyone had answered well and therefore the marks were all excellent

The teacher thanked everyone for their effort ... and proposed a draw for the allocation of the gift.
The students each had to write their name on a folded sheet of paper and put it in a box from which the teacher would choose a sheet to be drawn from among the sheets.
Indeed, the teacher took out a paper in front of them and read the child's name.
"Wafaa Abdul Karim".. She is the winner of the giveaway.
The little girl Wafaa came forward with joy and tears flooding her eyes, to the applause of the teacher and all the children
She thanked everyone and her teacher for this wonderful gift, which came at the right time.
She was tired of wearing her old shoes because her parents couldn't afford new ones. They are very poor...
The teacher came home happily. When her husband asked her about the story, she told him in tears what had happened!!
The husband was surprised that she was crying. And when he asked her the question, she said to him:
"When I came back and opened the rest of the papers, I found that everyone had written on the paper the name of the child, Wafaa Abdul Karim.
Oh my God!!!
All the children noticed her state of poverty and joined hands to bring happiness into her heart."

Seeking Forgiveness - dhul hijja
Hajj is the ultimate act of worship we can perform as Muslims to seek forgiveness from Allah and expiate our sins, but most of us are lucky if we can go even once in our lifetime.
These days are a blessing in disguise for those who want another chance. Repent at every possible moment you have, you never know which one could be your last.
Allah SWT has yet again given us 10 more blessed days after Ramadan so that we can do more good.
Ask for forgiveness, for your sins past and present. It will bring us closer to Allah SWT and cleanse our souls.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said :
If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not.”

Dua breaking fast during 9 days Dhul Hijja
During the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, and especially on the Day of Arafat, fasting brings even more abundant blessings.
The Prophet (ﷺ) even said: “Fasting the day of Arafah erases the sins of two years: the previous year and the coming one.” (Muslim)
Given the unique blessings found in these days, our duas are even more important at this time. When you break your fast after sunset, be sure to recite the following dua for acceptance this month:
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّى لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ امنْتُ وَعَليْكَ تَوَكّلتُ وَ عَلى رِزْقِكَ اَفْطَرْتُ
Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa alayka tawakkaltu wa ala rizq-ika-aftartu
“O Allah! I fasted for You and I believe in You and I put my trust in You and I break my fast with Your sustenance.”

Mina or Mouna
Mina Hajj is mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah in the Holy Quran as follows:
“And remember Allah during [specific] numbered days. Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days – there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays [until the third] – there is no sin upon him – for him who fears Allah.
And fear Allah and know that unto Him you will be gathered.” [Holy Quran, 2:203]
Some little-known facts about Mina Hajj are mentioned below:
Fact 1: City of Tent
Mina is also known as the “City of Tent.” To provide temporary accommodation to over 3 million pilgrims who take part in Hajj every year, the Saudi government has installed more than 100,000 air-conditioned tents in the 20 km2 area of Mina.
Fact 2: Cave of Mursalaat
Little do people know that there lies a cave in Mina known as “Cave of Mursalaat.” This was the place where Surah Mursalaat was revealed to Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
Fact 3: The First Pledge
According to Seerah an-Nabawiyyah/ Biography of Prophet Muhammad pbuh, it was Mina Hajj where the event of the First Pledge took place, and a group of twelve men from Madinah accepted Islam.
The First Pledge stated the following conditions; not to associate partners with Allah SWT, not to commit adultery, not to steal, not to kill children, not to be disobedient (when commanded), to do a good deed and not to bring false statements upon one another (fellow Muslim men and women).
The valley of Mina marks the turning point and revolution of Yathrib, which is now known as the luminous city of Madinah. Thus, it is believed that if a Muslim takes a similar pledge at Mina, the blessings of Allah SWT will be showered upon them, and they will take a turn towards a more spiritual and religious journey that will last a lifetime.
The valley of Mina holds great significance in the Islamic ritual of Hajj and Umrah. During Dhul Hijjah every year, around 3 million pilgrims come to stay in the 100,000 tents located there.

How to protect your child
You place your hand on the forehead of your son or daughter and read the following:
1_ Al-Fatihah
2- And Ayat Al-Kursi
3- And the last two verses of Surat Al-Baqarah
4- And Surah Al-Ikhlas and Al-Mu’awwizat 3 times each
Then say Bismillah 3 times
And then say,
اعيذك بعزة الله وقدرته من شر ماتجد وتحاذر 7مرات
Aeidhuk bi Izzat Allah waqudratih min sharri matajid watouhadhur ( 7 times)
(I seek refuge for you with the glory of Allah and with His Power from the evil that afflicts you and that which you apprehend) 7 times
And then say
( استودعتك الله الذي لاتضيع ودائعه)
( Astawdaetuk Allah aledhi latadiu wadayieahi)
(I entrust you to God whose deposits are not lost)

The sensitive soul is a concupiscible power which resides in the whole body equally and which is the source from which derive all objectionable qualities and the capacity to acquire all praiseworthy qualities.
Because you must know that anger and lust are two essential attributes of the sensitive soul, from which all the passions are generated. Their purification is obtained by reducing them to their happy medium.
Thus, when the appetite of desire oversteps this golden mean it breeds concupiscence, greed, vain hope, hypocrisy and envy in the "chest" of men.
Now we call “chest” the first envelope of the heart, which is like its skin;
The second is properly called “heart” and it is the mine of faith and the seat of intellectual light and ideal vision;
the third is called “membrane of the heart” and it is the mine of love, passion and affection towards creatures;
The fourth is called “bowels” and it is the mine of contemplation and vision of Allah;
The fifth is called "core of the heart" and it is the mine of mystical revelations, the foundation of knowledge which in Allah has its origin and the source of the divine mysteries;
The sixth is called “heart blood” and is the mine from which the lights of enlightenment arise.
Be aware that the heart, which is the metallic mirror, oxidizes.

Masjid Jinn
Masjid Jinn is a mosque that is located in Makkah and is also known as Masjid Haras and Mosque Of Guards.
It is known by the name because the citys guards patrol up to that point. The mosque is built at a place where it is believed Jinn Gather together to listen to the Prophets Recitation of the Quran.
The Prophet (P.B.U.H) later had met with the Jinns leader and accepted their nuzzle of Islam and their oath of allegiance to him. This incident is mentioned in Chapter Al-Jinn of the Quran.
The Masjid Jin is considered one of the Oldest Masjid In Mecca and is one of the most important mosques visited by the pilgrims and is also known as the Mosque Of Allegiance.
It was originally built in the 1700s as an underground mosque. Recently a minaret has been added to the mosque’s structure, transforming the architecture into a more angular and modern one.
Today, the mosque has all the modern facilities, including an air-conditioned interior, water (wudu) stations, prayers carpets, and fans. The mosque has a wide praying area, although it is not very spacious.
People living in the area come here to pray five times a day.

Mount Arafat holds massive importance among Muslims as it is the hill where Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) stood and delivered the Farewell Sermon to Muslims who accompanied him to Hajj towards the end of his life.
Some hold the belief that part of the Quranic verse announcing that the religion of Islam had been perfected was revealed on this day. One hadith says that ‘Hajj is Arafat’ (Abu Dawud).
This means Arafat is the sum and substance of Hajj. On this day Allah mercifully forgives every sinner who asks for forgiveness. The Arafah day is also important because this amazing ayat was revealed on this day:
“This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.” (Surah al Maa’idah 5:3).
If you are not on a pilgrimage, fasting on the Day of Arafat is a highly recommended Sunnah. It brings you a great reward in the form of Allah forgiving the sins of two years. It was narrated from Abu Qatadah that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was asked about fasting on the day of Arafat and he replied, “It expiates for the past and coming years.” However, it is advisable to not fast while performing Hajj so one can pray with all strength.

Ibn al-Qayyim said,
“Khadijah bint Khuwailid ibn Asad ibn Abdul-Uzza ibn Qusai ibn Kilaab, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم married her ra in Makkah when he pbuh was twenty-five years old and he pbuh remained with her ra until Allaah honoured him pbuh with His Message.
She ra believed in him pbuh and supported him pbuh, and so was a truthful vizier to him pbuh.
She ra died three years before the [Prophet’s] hijrah according to the most correct opinion, and it is said four years [before] and it is [also] said five years [before].
And she has special characteristics, may Allaah be pleased with her, from them being the fact that: the Prophet pbuh did not marry anyone else while he pbuh was with her ra; that all of his children were from her ra, except Ibrahim عليه السلام for he was born from Maariyah; that she ra is the best of the women of this ummah.

The tekbir during the first ten days of the month of Dhul Hijja and the days of Tashriq
The texts show that doing a lot of remembering Allah is highly recommended during the ten days of the month of Dhul Hijja, the day of 'Id Al Adha and during the three days of Tashriq which follow the day of 'Id.
The tekbir, which is the act of saying -Allahu Akbar-, during these thirteen days is particularly recommended and it is of two types:
- the general tekbir (mutlaq)
- the precise tekbir (ie at specific times / muqayid).

In his Sahih, Al-Bukhaari said, “Qutaibah ibn Sa’eed narrated to us [saying]: Muhammad ibn Fudail narrated to us from Ummarah from Abu Zur’ah from Abu Hurairah, may Allaah be pleased with him, that he said,
“Jibreel came to the Prophet pbuh and said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah! This is Khadijah coming to you with a dish having meat soup (or some food or drink).
When she reaches you, greet her on behalf of her Lord and on my behalf and give her the glad tidings of having a palace made of Qasab in Paradise, wherein there will be neither any noise nor any toil.’”

The ultimate outcome of love is to be completely drowned out, the lover obliterated and his seeming existence annihilated through the promised support, which providence pours upon the People of Holiness through the real attractions of the uniqueness and the subtle scents of impenetrability.
At that point, there is no trace of the other nor news from what is different.
That is the sign of the disappearance of the shadows of existence (wujûd) at the sunrise of vision (shuhûd).
Then the tongue of Majesty recites in the presence of Perfection:
(“That is Allah—your True Lord. So what is beyond the truth except falsehood? How can you then be turned away?” (10.32).)
It is in this condition [of ecstasy] that this poem was composed:
Let the servant disappear,
annihilating himself in the two universes,
this is true love.
Nothing differentiates the two signs anymore,
not a dot now distinguishes the letters.
The One in whom he was annihilated gives him life again
by His manifestation, distance being erased.
Thus, according to the promise, comes true
the happiness of the heart and the eyes.
