According to Sky News Arabic, citing an Israeli military source, there are claims that the Mossad managed to infiltrate Hezbollah’s supply chain by concealing PETN explosives inside the batteries of communication devices prior to them reaching Hezbollah.

It is reported that these explosives were detonated remotely by raising the battery temperature. PETN is regarded as one of the most potent explosives and is highly reactive to heat and friction, which could explain the method used to trigger the explosions.

Additionally, Al Jazeera mentions that each device allegedly contained around 20 grams of explosives, with Hezbollah starting to use these devices approximately five months ago. It is important to note that all this information remains unverified.

But the Hebrew word תַחְבֻּלוֹת more correctly means: tricks, ruses, subterfuge. It can also be translated in this context as: cunning.

"Through cunning you will make war, and salvation is in broad counsel."
