Per the Jerusalem Post, in September, Israel conducted a high-stakes commando raid on an Iranian missile production facility near Masyaf, Syria. The operation targeted a site operated by the Syrian defense industry and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, neutralizing components linked to Hezbollah’s precision missile program.
The facility posed a growing threat, with concerns that it could soon mass-produce advanced missiles. This raid, carried out 200 kilometers from Israeli territory, reflects Israel’s ongoing efforts to counter Iranian military entrenchment in Syria and disrupt weapons transfers to Hezbollah.
