Two illegal immigrants who crossed the southern border into Texas in summer 2023 are reportedly in custody for the brutal murder of a 63-year-old Chicago man in his home this Sunday, according to a top U.S. official and multiple sources speaking to Fox News.
One of the suspects, an illegal alien, had previously been arrested for suspected child luring—only to be released under Chicago’s sanctuary city policies. Just days later, the murder occurred.
Due to Chicago’s restrictions, local police were unable to coordinate with federal immigration authorities.
