Wir sprachen mit Dr. Qandil vom Nasser-Krankenhaus in Gaza, der davor warnte, dass die Krankenhäuser in Gaza zu Leichenhallen werden könnten, wenn den Notstromaggregaten der Treibstoff ausgeht. Im Wettlauf gegen die Zeit kämpfen die Ärzte auch mit einem Mangel an lebenswichtigen medizinischen Gütern, der durch Israels "totale Blockade" des Gazastreifens verursacht wird, während das Bombardement anhält.
Die UNO verurteilte die wiederholten israelischen Evakuierungsbefehle an 22 Krankenhäuser im Gazastreifen, während diese Tausende von Schwerverletzten behandelten. Ärzte aus dem Gazastreifen sagten uns: "Wir gehen nicht weg und werden im Krankenhaus sterben [...] Man hat uns zwei Stunden Zeit gegeben, um zu evakuieren."
