🇾🇪💥 The Yemeni army released the video of the USV attack against the TRANSWORLD NAVIGATOR ship in the Red Sea.

On June 23, the Yemeni Navy carried out two operations against this ship in the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea. The first operation was carried out with several anti-ship ballistic missiles in the Arabian Sea and the second operation was carried out using a Tufan USV in the Red Sea.

🚢 TRANSWORLD NAVIGATOR is a bulk carrier sailing under the Liberian flag since 2010. This ship was traveling from Singapore to the Suez Canal when it was attacked by missiles and USVs in the waters of Yemen.

— According to the Yemeni army, the company that owns this ship has repeatedly violated the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine.

📊 'Tufan Al-Mudamir' (destructive storm) is one of the Yemeni navy USVs, which has a warhead equivalent to 1,000 to 1,500 kg and its speed is equivalent to 45 nautical miles per hour.

— The Yemeni army spokesperson Brigade General Yahya Saree said in a statement that the Yemeni army’s missile force attacked MSC SARAH V merchant vessel in the Arabian sea with a ballistic missile, and the hit was accurate and direct.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), also reported the incident. UKMTO reported that a merchant vessel was targeted 96 nautical miles southeast of Yemen’s southeastern coastal town Nishtun. The captain and crew of the vessel forced to abandon ship after it suffered flooding that could not be contained. The abandoned ship remains adrift and in danger of sinking.
