🇱🇾✈️ A Bayraktar Akıncı drone was shot down this morning 15 km west of the Al-Ajilat region in northwestern Libya. This drone is one of Turkey’s most advanced unmanned aerial vehicles and has recently been sold to the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) forces.

— The cause of the drone’s downing is unknown, but smoke in the sky suggests it was hit by a missile fired by the Libyan National Army (LNA) forces led by General Haftar.

👉 Throughout the Libyan civil war, many Bayraktar TB2 drones have been downed. However, the Akinci’s destruction marks the first recorded instance of losing this type of wide-body drone in Libya.

🚢🚨 Early Tuesday, the crew of the Hong Kong-flagged container ship ASL Bauhinia abandoned the vessel 226 kilometers northwest of Hudaydah after a fire broke out. The cause, involving an explosion, is still unclear.

▪️Initial Withdrawal: Israeli forces left the southern areas of Beit Lahia and Jabalia yesterday, re-establishing the connection between northern Gaza and Gaza City. Displaced residents in the north are returning home.

▪️Next Steps: On the 7th day of the agreement, Israeli forces will begin withdrawing from the Netzarim axis in central Gaza. They will initially move from Al-Rashid Street to Salah al-Din Street, and by the 22nd day, will retreat to the buffer zone on the Gaza border, reopening travel routes for Palestinians.
