While "Garantiya" from Kolomna was complaining about the "strongest attack in 20 years," we were simultaneously working on another provider – "INKO."
The result is the same:

Російські хакери (група UAC-0184) вигадали нову схему: вони надсилають у Signal архіви з нібито "безпечними" файлами (документи, фото), які насправді містять шкідливе ПЗ для викрадення даних. Повідомляє ITC.ua, посилаючись на Держспецзв'язку.
Як себе захистити:
- Не відкривайте файли від невідомих контактів. Навіть якщо це виглядає як звичайний документ.
- Перевіряйте файли антивірусом перед відкриттям, якщо є хоч найменший сумнів.
- Вимкніть автозавантаження файлів у налаштуваннях Signal.

🚨 Warning! The enemy is using Signal to spread viruses!
Russian hackers (group UAC-0184) have devised a new scheme: they send archives via Signal with supposedly "safe" files (documents, photos) that actually contain malware to steal data. Reported by ITC.ua, referencing the SSSCIP of Ukraine.
How to protect yourself:
- Do not open files from unknown contacts. Even if it looks like a regular document.
- Scan files with an antivirus before opening if you have the slightest doubt.
- Disable automatic file downloads in Signal's settings.
Remember: your vigilance is the best defense.
