It isn't and the project could be run economically at these prices. HOWEVER, the previous highs would have got an off-taker to put up most of the money for the build (with a bit of debt, no doubt) and avoid dilution. Now, with current prices, we are too small to move the dial.
Change an iron ore project to a battery-focused, Tio2 and vanadium project... I think we'll have better chances of securing that off-taker this time...
Bought a bit more earlier (39,928) and will continue to do so in time. This has to pop eventually!
Читать полностью…I'm not pointing fingers at one person. Sadly though, you get someone moaning, someone else comes up with a constructive response, silence...
AGM was really useful. Frustrating, but useful. Sadly. no-one else was there aside from the two people I attended with. Constant moans about the lack of comms, etc. then a prime opportunity missed. Not everyone could attend, but out of all PIs, we had three.
Yet, I can imagine 10x that figure have sent some form of aggressive correspondence to Brian and wonders why he doesn't reply.
Anyway, there we are.
Sufficient working capital for the foreseeable (remember, they have liquidity in KEFI/Valore shares, plus to a lesser extent in BRES as they see that longer term.
Читать полностью…Cash shouldn't restrict any transaction, Brian stated at the AGM (which, by the way, only three PIs attended... THREE!) that they believe they can structure any deals with an element of deferred/milestone-based payments. Interim results echo his comments that they have been working hard on deals.
Pitombeiras is dependent on Fodere, we all know that - they are dictating the timeline.
Wonder what Brian did for the other 5 months and 30 days of the period?

Читать полностью…Some really good insight to his background, Brazil, etc. at the start of the interview. Plus, note the II interest in the project. Potential they'll be interested in other projects he is involved with.
Читать полностью…It depends on the news - it could come on several fronts.
If sellers have been waiting for news to exit, then more fool them at this stage, but at least it'll be a rare occasion that they will be selling into liquidity.
Don't forget the shares are ~70% owned by insiders (I could account for 10-15% of the other owners from the LTHs I speak to), so liquidity works both ways.
It'd be a big positive to attract new investors and not discount LTHs. I certainly would consider adding after positive news, especially if the market is slow to react.
“In the long run, we’re all dead”! So hope that time is 2023 and not 2033!

Читать полностью…No offense taken, you need thick skin in this game 🤩
Читать полностью…No, he was as frustrated as the rest of us our, which makes some of the comments on here about him doing nothing even more pathetic and laughable.
Iron ore price drop at the wrong time hit them hard. Fodere delays have further frustrated. Both are out of anyone's control.
His confidence in the underlying assets and strategies was unwavering. It's timing which makes it hard.
Yeah, must be gruelling to think about. Well, the struggle goes on
Читать полностью…If you want an honest opinion, one post here or there doesn't matter (and can be funny), but too much of the content in this group is toxic and unhelpful.
We are (apparently) a collective group of shareholders, but often, the most engagement is from those bashing the stock/Brian/etc. Any attempt at constructive dialogue brings things to a grinding halt.
I know one or two of the more frequent (and unhelpful) posters have long since sold large chunks, but people continue to let them wind them up.
To a degree, I get it. PIs are frustrated, there is nothing immediate to look forward to, etc. but if this is the perception given our on here, in throwaway Twitter posts, etc. then where do we expect to attract new investors from?
My 2p...
Does anyone feel that this was less funny than I thought it was and more toxic? Just asking as I thought it was funny... considering I was shocked to know there's an update, then only realising it was a financial report..... just asking as some people are not happy with me 😐
Читать полностью…No need as it was extensively covered in the final results. If the position had materially changed (which is highly unlikely as JAN are party to the dispute) they would update the market.
Читать полностью…Did anyone ask Brian about the potential impact of the land dispute?
Читать полностью…Travel to Brazil, went to BBQ at Luis House, then Surfing 🏄♂️ in Ipanema or Leblon Beach. Visit the site for 05.23mins and Fly back to Rio de Janeiro. Spent another few days there, more BBQ 🍖- gain few kilos and then return Home. That’s basically 1 month, the other 5 and 30 days I have no idea 🤷🏻♂️
Hope this help 😂
Excellent interview! Thanks for sharing. Luis is very switched on - he knows the geology and the legal side. Having Brazilian leadership/ expertise on the ground is very important for #jan. Just hope he is fully involved with Jangada - he is a busy guy.

Crux interview on Bravo mining - worth a watch to remind us who we have finding deals in Brazil for us...
Will people care at all when the time comes and news lands? Or will people be shocked and pile in? There will be a lot of sellers waiting to get out at good news. I hope the price does recover on good news though 😅
