You’ve probably more chance of fodere saying something direct than them issuing formal update. Keep at it and you might get lucky. 🤞🤞

Jangada can’t update us on fodere until Fodere officially update all their shareholders. There has to be official comms from Fodere first.
Brian has a little more sway with fodere than we do with Jangada, but still just a shareholder.
Frustration at the lack of progress from Fodere is better directed at John Ortigun, the executive director of fodere. He’s UK based so if anyone ever comes across him in the city then feel free to put across the frustration we all have…
Frustration at Brian should be the failure to complete on a new deal in over 2 years. Obviously we don’t want a bad deal, but should have been more aggressive or taken more of a chance than he did?
The best risers on aim are often the companies that have been dormant for a long time and come back to life. We need not just a schedule, but progress to have been made with plan of action for the future. Either on fodere/pitombeiras or a new project.
Why would you feel confident? The board of directors here have left us guessing as to how the Fodere technology is progressing or even if it's progressing. I have averaged down in some other shares but not here, not until the management break radio silence over progress and timescales. If things remain the same I expect it to continue the long running downtrend. We're at a £2 million market cap now but we could halve that again if they don't act imo.

Fodere have funding for their 1st commercial plant. They get into operation then the Jangada stake in them becomes much more valuable.
No idea of their progress as been no updates for ages. Their BOD owns 70% so highly incentivized, but they’ve missed all previous timelines they set.
They’re not lacking in ambition on the new acquisition side. Existing mines nearing end of life akin to some of the deals you see in O&G where a junior takes over a majors asset.
No execution to date. If there had been we’d be in totally different position… If they do pull something off then it’ll be fast re-rate.
Yes things are moving along. NvS has moved aside in favour of Jeff Quinn who is very good. NvS had a lot of roles but he remains at Jangada where are looking to apply the Fodere tech to Pitombeiras among other things. I think you will hear much more regarding progress in 2025.

They don't seem like they are ready to get any major ball rolling considering they are developing this pre-commercial plant. We could be waiting another year if things are this quiet, with nobody to get hold of to confirm anything.

Radiotherapy worked as tumor stopped growing. Damage it caused to optic nerve isn’t reversible though so the sight I’ve lost is permanent. Moved to annual MRIs to monitor it. Stressful 18mths, but could have been lot worse.

It does no harm to try and others have had joy in the past, though not aware of anyone talking to John.
Just always be polite even if through gritted teeth, keep questions open rather than closed so they can offer information rather than closing down as you’re asking something they can’t answer.
Asking if they have a current presentation they can share might give you insight into the economics of their own planned plant.
Asking if they’re excited about the forthcoming few months or year is a soft question that can open them up to talk about what’s happening.
Don’t expect them to say much about Jangada and if you’re going to ask any questions on that angle then leave until last. It might get them to close down as Jangada is a listed company:

I tell you what I tried to do the other day. I actually called up the anglo african phone number and asked for john omitogun to the lovely woman on the phone.... It rang and there was no answer.
Try calling up the fodere number on that website and you get an automated answering machine.
I know what your saying but the frustration has been intense the last year. This company is like a new pre-IPO company that has everything to prove again.
Imagine holding on to so much land in north-east Brazil and doing nothing with it.... the locals must be pissed with the useless Australian man that promised jobs.
I feel your pain. I'm down 79%. Been averaging down from 8p to 2.8p and I haven't felt confident about buying. I really feel like a terrible and stupid wannabe investor that failed.

Pitombieras currently has negative value. Current Market cap is less than the value of the investments.
We’ve known for sometime it needs the fodere tech to progress. If they finally progress with a fodere operation we could do well. Really need a partner or offtakers to take interest in it when fodere tech included.
Fingers crossed, no point selling but the last year has been terrible.
