Hope so. It’s Possible if they’ve come to agree terms in last month or so they’ve said ratify upon election completing.
They wouldn’t have held of negotiating until election known. There’s always something else coming up and no deals would ever get agreed.
Plus is can gain you political favour if you announce deals after new president. They can say it shows confidence in them, although we’re quite small fry in that regard.
I wonder if this result was key on JAN progressing any large deals they were under NDA for

Lula bought centre right candidates onto his ticket to win. So whilst he’s left leaning he’s expected to be sensible.
As below editor of Bloomberg business and senior IMF economist see Brazil as best emerging economy so long as no issues in transition of power.
They’re non political and economy driven I.e. better than listening to the uneducated or bias
No coup, just a heated election in which Lula was accused of being a satan worshipper and Bolsonaro of cannibalism. 😂
Lula won as per all the polls predicted.
Key now is smooth transaction. Already seeing Bolsonaro allies such as leader of house of deputies (right wing) accept Lula won.
Also watch to see if meirelles is appointed as finance minister by Lula. If so big positive.

Tax doesn’t worry me one bit. Even if he adds a few points it’s irrelevant to him our project as Technical report economics are based on circa 34%. We can expect that to be reduced significantly…

Yes he’s pro business. Lula in last stint also wanted more investment into mines - its job creation.
Lula focus will be environmental- think Amazon and indigenous lands. Nowhere near where pitombieras is.
Only taxes having been discussed is higher royalty in particularly high margin operating large mines. Iron ore in certain state with over 66% grade was mentioned.
They need to encourage investment in new mines for the jobs. For us even if tax was to be increased the tax incentives for new mine would more than exceed that. Tombador for example got a 70% tax cut for first 10years.
