Netflix hd bitrate only 1.64 Mbps

So i am watching atlas movie on my TVThe quality is not at a 1080p hd level, but much lower.I have 1000mbits fiber connection so its not my fault.On my philips it says: 1.64 Mbps / 1080 / codec HEVC Main10Only few selected series go higher than 5mbps when watching (dexter for example)What can I do other than asking a refund?

Non-English movies recommendation

I’d like to find a good movie on Netflix that my bf and I could watch and that none of us has seen before. I love movies but he is a genuine movie-lover and doesn’t miss anything new, old and interesting.Since we both loved Squid Game and I have also liked Hunger, I am interested if any of you guys could recommend a good Korean or other Asian movie on Netflix. Came home and my Netflix was signed into “Eric’s” account. I don’t know an Eric.

I live with just my partner in my apartment. We have lived here for maybe six months and don’t yet know very many people in town. We share WiFi with my upstairs neighbor, and I confirmed that she also does not know an Eric. I was reading online that in order for another person’s Netflix account to be logged into our smart tv (using a Roku on an older Samsung model), someone would have to physically be IN my apartment. Someone please give me peace of mind that some stranger wasn’t in my apartment watching Netflix on their account when I was at work. Could this have been a glitch? Could someone nearby have casted to our tv accidentally?

ELI5: How the brain instinctively understand physics

To be more specific, earlier I had a pizza box on the counter. I looked at it, realized if it was an inch further it would tip over, then tested that theory and I was right. I understand depth perception really helps with daily life physics overall, but how does the brain calculate something like an object’s center of gravity?

Worst Ex Ever : Ben Foster

The first ex was so completely oblivious to the double-standards she set. Without batting an eye, she says how she took his new gun and threw it in the trash because "that's just how I am and I like to press buttons".I don't condone violence. But if I spent thousands of dollars on a new guitar/bike/hobby item, and my roommate or girlfriend threw it away "just because", violent fantasies would be playing out in my mind.What an absolutely stupid excuse for a human being.One thing about all these episodes is they keep talking about how "XXX" was the WORST EX EVER. But they never talk about their own roles and things that they did to instigate the treatment they got. I'm not victim blaming, but it almost always takes two to tango. Whatever it is, that first-ex in the Ben Foster episode was just a dumb POS. She didn't deserve the level of violence brought against her, but man was she dumb and lacking in self-awareness.

Surely your body can’t ‘register’ that you’ve consumed water? I get that you can stop feeling hunger as soon as you eat because it’s something in your stomach. But, when you’re thirsty, how does your body know that it’s water and not food?

Why are Netflix subtitles options so bad?

Considering accessibility and visual impairments that people may have, I would have expected Netflix to have more customisation than this.The large font size is absurdly big and the small font size is absurdly small.The majority of subtitles over the years that I have seen in shows have used simple white text with a thick-ish black outline that is easy to read when against a variety of backgrounds. The closest option Netflix has to this is the "Uniform" shadow that is a barely noticeable thin outline. Netflix's default font for subtitles is white text with a very subtle shadow behind it. ELI5: Is death instant by gunshot to the heart/cut to the neck like in the movies?

I watch a lot of war and action films. Whenever there’s a scene where a guy gets shot, he instantly flips over and dies immediately. I know movies aren’t real life, but if it’s not to the head, does death occur that instantly? Surely if you were shot in the heart you’d feel it, the surge of blood and the pain, and impending doom, and have a few seconds or a minute to process it, no? Or something that really annoys me is when someone gets their throat slit and they immediately are dead. Does it actually work like that? How is that an instant death? I can imagine the pain of it all. Yes, surely you’d lose consciousness eventually from not being able to breathe and choking on your blood, but is it possible to die immediately from that? I can’t stop thinking about the downplaying of painful, heart-wrenching final moments in movies that are 18+ by nature anyway.

I see them all the time. Adverts that tell you your IQ, give misleading versions of the game/apps in question, give wildly inaccurate claims. In any other media they’d be pulled, the advert owners would be fined and so on. So by why are social ads and app ads like the Wild West of ad-World?

Dirty Pop: Blimp Manufacturer inaccuracy

I just started watching and when he presents his McDonald's blimp he says it's been manufactured by WDL, as West German company. Then they talk briefly about the owner of that company, framing him as some sort of super na*i. I found it strange, because that guy looked way too young in the footage to have been that back in WWII. German is my first language, so it's easy for me to google him and that company. Turns out he was born in 1925. So he was 8 when na*is came into power, 14 when the war started and 20 when it ended. In 1943 he enlisted with the Luftwaffe to become a fighter pilot, but the war ended before he was deployed. After the war he continued his flight training with the British and was one of the first German pilots to be granted a license by the allied forces. He was also a member of the SPD, which is the social democratic party in Germany. I'm not saying it's impossible for him to having held auch views at the time, but he was an influenced young man at best. And he wouldn't have gotten training by the British if he was really deep into the politics of the third reich. It's just a small thing and I get that they wanted to get the story across that Lou Perlman would have sold his soul to the devil if the money was right. But it comes across as "Oh my Gosh! He made business with Germans in the 80s and 90s! They must have all been na*is!", which is rather annoying for us Germans. And we are the first to admit when somebody was one of them back then, but we also value accuracy.

ELI5: Why does chocolate with the same cocoa % taste so different?

I have 3 dark chocolate bars all at 85% but they taste very different!One the taste is very flat, like cardboard, the second is rich, delicious and almost fruity, and the third is kinda more nutty?The only difference is where it's made like one was from Spain, second from Japan and third from belgium. It's so weird that they all taste really different even at the same cocoa level! And this difference in taste is most pronounced at like the higher cocoa levels (80% and higher).

Locked out at second home

The last year I have been able to access Netflix at my second home by playing shows on my phone at my registered address on the account. One year later to the month this is no longer working. I have an apartment I use 4 days a week where I work and my main home the other 3. Does anyone have suggestions? When I called Netflix wanted me to buy another subscription for one of the homes
