I have a Netflix premium account but can't watch any content in 4K. My Google TV says everything is only "HD". The same thing happens to my phone. My Internet speed is more than 15 Mbps, my TV is a 4K, and the Chromecast is connected to an 4K HDMI port. Netflix playback settings are also set to "High." I've done an update on both the Chromecast firmware and the Netflix app and confirmed that my devices support Widevine L1 DRM. I also checked my internet speed and reset my Chromecast. I even reinstalled Netflix, but still could not use Ultra HD 4K. Anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?

Returned to Netflix after about 12 years
At /r/netflix
They forced me to choose 3 movies / shows / whatever to sign up and there was only ONE that I liked out of the entire list. Not looking too good for me for my return. The Nate Bargatze special was the only one that I really like and literally NOTHING else even remotely appealed to me from the choices offered.

reached yearly download limit in 2025?

this is annoying me sooo bad. i hit the yearly download limit on a few things last year. i’m trying to redownload them now and it won’t let me because apparently i’ve hit the yearly download limit despite not downloading anything this year ?? wtf netflix, if anyone has a solution i’d appreciate it

Missing you?

Just started it yesterday because it was recommended to me, thought I’d like it because the Harlan Coben world is usually pretty good; but I’m also starting to feel like once you’ve seen a few, you’ve seen them all. It’s like the old Lifetime network with repeat actors and actresses, but for whatever reason, I just can’t get into this one. I’ll have to wait a bit and give it another shot. Idk if there’s too much going on, or if I’m not wild about the casting, I cant put my finger on it.

No Good Deed - Was it Lisa Kudrow's best performance till date?

No Good Deed had a lot of hangover of Dead To Me, especially the chronic ailments, feelings of loss and grief. Linda Cardellini just seemed like she was still a part of Dead To Me. Lisa Kudrow on the other hand was fantastic. She did the part of a grieving mother so well. Ray Romano too was so good and Luke Wilson as well. It seemed like such a sweet and a good holiday binge kind of a show that isn't too heavy or hard on your brains and eyes. They should bring it back for another season with different characters and a story. Just shame how it wasn't promoted as well or we don't have many people talking about it.

ELI5 why 72 DPI looks good on computers and stuff, but you need a minimum of 300 DPI for it to look good on print?

Yes, I know DPI doesn't apply to screens, but I'm watching a video about making webcomics where they said to never draw them in 72 DPI (default) rather than 300 DPI. I'm confused why it looks so bad printed if it looks fine on a screen.

Realised I'm paying for netflix but don't have an account..

Hi, I haven't used netflix in over a year but I just realised I'm paying a £17.99 monthly bill. I tried logging into netflix with my email but it says I don't have an account with that email. I can't remember if I deleted my account when I stopped using it, but I can deduce the following: I was paying £6.99 a month up until September 2023. My last proper email from Netlix was in September 2023 to change my password. Every email after this is generic spam to get me to sign up.
Payments at £17.99 started in December 2023. I definitely never agreed to this and have no record of this change other than sudden payments in my bank. I'm not sure what the hell is going on here. Whether Netflix is mugging me off, or someone has gained access to my account, changed the email/password to their own, yet kept the money coming from my bank?
