I‘m so fucking sick of this, what can I even watch anymore?

Is there literally any decent show that actually saw its natural conclusion? It feels like maybe a handful of the shows I liked got a proper ending, most were cancelled despite being received well. I just finished Dead Boy Detectives and loved it - cancelled. The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself seemed really interesting but I didn’t start it because I know it was cancelled and don’t want to get mad over a cliffhanger. Dead End: Paranormal Park, a great cartoon with queer and neurodivergent characters, cancelled while the season was already in production. I don’t even want to start a new show anymore because I know they’ll cancel it after one season anyway for not doing insane numbers all the time. Anyone have recommendations for shows similar to the ones above, preferably complete or confirmed renewed? I‘ll even take cancelled as long as there’s no cliffhanger.Would love something Fantasy with queer characters and a good story if y‘all know something

Why aren’t more titles in 4K?

I recently upgraded to the Netflix Premium plan and was severely disappointed by the lack of 4K options on many movies. Seems like it is mainly reserved for Netflix originalsThis week they added Interstellar, Dune pt 2, and Mad Max to Netflix streaming, but only Interstellar offers 4K. Why wouldn’t the other movies also support this?

I have a Netflix premium account but can't watch any content in 4K. My Google TV says everything is only "HD". The same thing happens to my phone. My Internet speed is more than 15 Mbps, my TV is a 4K, and the Chromecast is connected to an 4K HDMI port. Netflix playback settings are also set to "High." I've done an update on both the Chromecast firmware and the Netflix app and confirmed that my devices support Widevine L1 DRM. I also checked my internet speed and reset my Chromecast. I even reinstalled Netflix, but still could not use Ultra HD 4K. Anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?

Returned to Netflix after about 12 years

They forced me to choose 3 movies / shows / whatever to sign up and there was only ONE that I liked out of the entire list. Not looking too good for me for my return. The Nate Bargatze special was the only one that I really like and literally NOTHING else even remotely appealed to me from the choices offered.

Missing you?

Just started it yesterday because it was recommended to me, thought I’d like it because the Harlan Coben world is usually pretty good; but I’m also starting to feel like once you’ve seen a few, you’ve seen them all. It’s like the old Lifetime network with repeat actors and actresses, but for whatever reason, I just can’t get into this one. I’ll have to wait a bit and give it another shot. Idk if there’s too much going on, or if I’m not wild about the casting, I cant put my finger on it.

No Good Deed - Was it Lisa Kudrow's best performance till date?

No Good Deed had a lot of hangover of Dead To Me, especially the chronic ailments, feelings of loss and grief. Linda Cardellini just seemed like she was still a part of Dead To Me. Lisa Kudrow on the other hand was fantastic. She did the part of a grieving mother so well. Ray Romano too was so good and Luke Wilson as well. It seemed like such a sweet and a good holiday binge kind of a show that isn't too heavy or hard on your brains and eyes. They should bring it back for another season with different characters and a story. Just shame how it wasn't promoted as well or we don't have many people talking about it.

These are the only 2 series they didn't stop watching and absolutely love. Now I need a third suggestion from you guys. Please only series that are already finished and where you think If they liked PB and MH, they could also love your suggestion. I know for a fact it isn't necessary the vibe of a " escape heist" which only made them like these 2 series, there must be something else about these series that are also in non "escape heist" series..

I've noticed that it seems to be a common thing for people to silently hope that someone they find attractive approaches them. You should know that if a massage therapist approaches you in a professional setting, they risk being fired or worse. As a result of this ethical dilemma and the power differential/dynamics of the therapist/client relationship, it is taught and strongly impressed on massage students to absolutely never act on any romantic impulses or to even attempt to get a client's number as this is highly unprofessional.If your massage therapist DOES like you in a romantic or sexual way, we are taught to refer you to someone else and end the professional relationship for a considerable amount of time and THEN we are free to pursue a personal relationship with you.Why YSK: The takeaway:1. Don't be discouraged if your massage therapist does not approach you for a personal relationship even if you can tell that they like you, they're trying to be professional, and protect their career.2. Also, if your massage therapist refers you to someone else, it may not be because of anything bad, it may be because they like you!3. Ultimately, just please be compassionate to your massage therapist and realize that they see a lot of clients and that they are specifically trained to not see things from a romantic and/or sexual standpoint. Verbal communication/honesty is always best to avoid misunderstandings. And there is a right way/ethical way and a wrong way/unethical way to go about things.

Unable to watch some shows on my profile

For some reason "Continue Watching" has disappeared completely from my feed and when I look for those shows they are available but it shows no episodes. This only happens with my profile. I'm on mobile app. I deleted and downloaded the app but it hasn't been fixed. I logged in on website and the issue persists. How can I fix this?

ELI5 why 72 DPI looks good on computers and stuff, but you need a minimum of 300 DPI for it to look good on print?

Yes, I know DPI doesn't apply to screens, but I'm watching a video about making webcomics where they said to never draw them in 72 DPI (default) rather than 300 DPI. I'm confused why it looks so bad printed if it looks fine on a screen.
