Issues with playback on Roku

Long story short: Household just got a new roku setup and I've found that, on Netflix, the picture and soundtrack for shows and movies will play but there are no voices, sound effects, ambience, etc. I tried playing several different ones and the issue was consistent across all of them.Anyone know what the issue could be/if there's a fix?

OK, I know this kinda goes against what Netflix does these days, kinda. But with all the series they've cancelled recently (Kaos, MindHunter, Sense8, the OA, Luke Cage etc etc etc) they should just focus on making these high concept ideas into feature length movies - the way entertainment used to be. Then... If it went well, make a sequel! Anyone from Netflix read this sub? Cos this seems like the obvious fix to me...

4K HDR doesn't work on Safari on macOS (14" MacBook Pro M4)

Hi all. I recently purchased a 14" MacBook Pro M4 and I'm testing out the capabilities of the built-in screen. The display looks wonderful with 4K HDR content on YouTube on Chrome and has no playback issues.I opened Safari just to test Netflix because apparently it's the only browser that supports 4K HDR playback on that site.I've encountered a couple of serious and annoying issues.The player defaults to 1920x1080 and needs a bit of "scrubbing" for the 3840x2160 resolution to kick in.HDR seems to be completely broken. At first glance, it doesn't seem to work at all even though the debug window says it is working (tested with Arcane and One Piece live action). By sheer luck I managed to observe that in some very specific cases (credits and pictures) the static video content weirdly renders correctly in HDR.e.g. HDR works here: https://www.netflix.com/title/81014625Any idea how to fix this?FYI I have a Premium (sky) subscription and I live in Italy if this info helps at all.

YSK: Your hairdresser/barber has a really hard time cutting hair that is past the shoulders when you are wearing a hoodie. The hoodie is a no no because the hair cannot be combed straight down and cut when the bulky hoodie is pushing the hair outward. WHY YSK : If your long hair is cut with a hoodie ( even while wearing a cape ) you can guarantee as soon as the hoodie is removed the hair will be uneven on the ends. May not be visible while wearing the hoodie, but as soon as the hair is laying flat against your back, it will be uneven with the hair at the nape sticking out longer than the rest. Now, if you have short hair and you are getting a short haircut, a hoodie is fine because the hoodie does not interfere. Also, who wants a hairy hoodie when you leave the salon? I've been doing hair for 33 years and for the love, PLEASE stop wearing hoodies if you have long hair and you are getting a haircut! It's really really annoying. That is all!
