Netflix drops all AMC?

This evening on my US Netflix account, all AMC shows say “remind me.” I was in the middle of watching Fear the Walking Dead and when I exited the app and came back, it was not available. None of my devices have AMC shows available. Anyone else seeing this?

ELI5: Why is it easier to sing with proper vocal placement?

I sing opera, and if I sing notes in the “wrong placement” in head voice, I can’t sing some notes at all, and other notes hurt my voice to sing. If the vocal chords are singing the same note, aren’t they vibrating at the same frequencies to make the notes? What is different about the placement anatomically/what is different about how the air comes out to make louder singing possible?

I know money talks, but I’m so over streaming TV and the constant cancelling of shows.

There should be a rule/law where streaming networks must pick up a show for two seasons, at least, and then can make the decision to cancel it after that. I feel like there are too many shows out there now that were never given the chance to grow its audience.

YSK that if planning to use a hand cranked ice-cream/slushy maker freeze a saltwater solution the night before for better results

The instructions usually say to add ice and pour salt over ice, the salt does not make anything colder it just allows the ice to melt at a lower temperature and liquid at freezing temp has a greater heat absorption/dispersal then ice.Pouring salt over ice you are allowing ice to become liquid again while still being 0°cBy making a high salt solution the night before you could have liquid that's -5°c or possibly lower (sea water freezes at about -3°c) making for a much more efficient and frozen ice-cream

I get this error when opening netflix, despite the fact that we don't have a home internet connection, and we don't use Netflix on our TV. It only affects 2 of us, however. Any idea why?

My partner and I switch off

This is really annoying me. My partner and I switch off households in different states. I travel for work and my partner comes to me sometimes. Recently in the past 2 to 3 months Netflix is no longer showing the I’m traveling option only the update household. We’re trying to save money and we are not understanding why this is changed. We are one household. Every single time we’re having to update the household. I’m a pause. The show to get up and pee and I come back and I have to update the household which then makes her have to update it in five minutes. What the heck happened?!?

ELI5: Why do we believe "smart" clothes look "smart"

I've been pondering the effects of clothing on perceived status. What is a rational explanation as to why we as humans have seemingly to come to an almost universal conclusion that dressing in certain ways are to be perceived in a specific matter? As in, how per say, loose joggers and a oversized t shirt may be considered sloppy, whereas a well fitted 3 piece suit is considered classy. Could this be the result of an evolutionary trait or does this stem from social adaptations?

"Carry-On" is amazing and is going in my Christmas Movie Rotation

In the spirit of Die Hard movies, this is going down as a classic Christmas movie for me.Bateman's performance is incredible. If you had told me the guy from "Horrible Bosses" and "The Change up" would make a great terrorist I'd have laughed my ass off at you. Guy has way more range than I realized, even after Ozark.It's the perfect blend of action and hoakieness and it's going to be a favorite of mine for a long time.Anyone with me?
