Difference between 4K HDR and Full HD

Hello, I wanted to know if there is a big difference between 4K HDR and Full HD?I notice that even on the standard Full HD subscription with a Netflix Original movie the colors are so strong, can it be that my Samsung 4K TV upscales the Full HD picture by itself?Greats

Missing Video Quality/Resolution tag and no 4K streams. Need some help.

I'm having some issue with Netflix right now and hoping to get some advice here.I can't stream in 4K anymore on my Windows 11 PC via the app or the web, despite I subbed to 4K, the stream settings is set to highest possible, and no problem with the hardware setup (will be detailed below). Occassionally, the stream does come out 4K but after I stop streaming and restart streaming it goes back to 1080p.The show information is missing video quality/resolution tag, all shows doesn't tell me if it's in HD, or in UltraHD 4K. It only tells me the audio quality available (5.1, Dolby Atmos, Spatial Audio).My setup:Intel Core i9-10850K, 32GB, Nvidia RTX3070, Windows 11 latest stable update. Spec wise, everything checks out.2 monitor setup, 1st is 32" 4K via DP, 2nd is 27" 1080p via HDMI. When I'm trying to watch Netflix, I set Windows to only show on 1st display (per the rules specified by Netflix).I don't see any issue with the codecs and Microsoft Edge. HDCP 2.2 support is true, HEVC 4K support is true. Microsoft Edge is on the latest stable version.Edge About GPU ReportInternet is 300Mbps, speed test through fast.com does show 300Mbps. PC is connected through LAN.Things that I've done and still does not resolve my problem:Contacted Netflix support, no resolution.Reinstall HEVC plugin.Clear browser history/cache/cookies.Disconnect second monitor (1080p), still does not resolve.Re-install Netflix app.I'm pretty sure that the issue is on my PC end as my work laptop and my phone doesn't have this problem.On my Microsoft account, there's another old laptop that runs Windows 10 that's also having similar issue. I'm not sure if that is causing the problem? My work laptop is not logged in with the same Microsoft account.The only 2 things that I haven't try is to uninstall Edge and do clean installation of Windows 11. I don't know how to re-install Edge (Windows being Windows), so probably will go straight to the second option as it seems to be a lot simpler if I couldn't solve this by next week. I don't want to do clean installation if I can know for sure if it won't solve my issue, but I'm out of ideas what to do.

K Dramas?

My wife watched them for about a year, I thought she was crazy because I knew that I would fall asleep reading the translations. She finally convinced me to watch one… and I was hooked. PC Screen Going Blank

Hello, Would anyone know what the heck is up with Netflix causing my pc screen to go blank when I try to watch movies? It's the only service where it happens, and it's not all films and series on Netflix that does that. It's mostly newer stuff it seems. I don't have this issue with any other services such as Amazon Prime, Disney +, or even Paramount.It happens when I try to watch Netflix with a browser and also with the app as well.

So I get that there goes a lot of work and time in creating a high quality game and with major game studios like ubisoft and fromsoft the cost can rank up to hundreds of millions of dollars, but even though it takes a lot of work to make a good game, how does it cost 500 million dollars? like where does that money go to? is there one specific part of making a game that costs a lot of money for large studios?

Netflix subtitles are highly inaccurate or just flat wrong sometimes... dont you think?

I have noticed a few times when the subtitles are clearly wrong or absurd mistakes.Like HxH, we have a arc called greed island, translated as "Green island in the subtitles", this is not a one time mistake... this happens each time that they call the island.This is just a random example but i really found lots and lots of mistakes, i know a little of Japanese, not enough of course but i can point a bunch of weird moments.I am kinda disturbed because i never saw nobody else talk about this...

The Kitchen/House Interior of The Watcher

Yes, The exterior of the the house looked like an absolute dream, but who else is bothered by the interior shots?? I’m electrically bothered by the kitchen, that looks like it belongs in a townhouse with the staircase background. I know the reviews weren’t the great for this, for other obvious reasons, but I’m extra bothered that I don’t see enough complaints about the poor excuse for a kitchen and other interior views for this otherwise amazing house!

Error E118 need to upgrade plan

Just started today. Things worked fine 3 days ago.Windows 10 PC using netflix url on fully updated chrome browser. I cast to a chromecast device hooked up to HDMI port on an older non smart TV.Today I get E118 saying I need to upgrade my plan to a non ad plan or update (I guess get a new) device.Haven't seen this discussed this reddit and Netflix help FAQ basically repeats what is shown on the TV.Any one else with this problem? Any workaround?

for me, the answer is the one about Manti Te’o (The Girlfriend that Didn’t Exist). I remember when the story broke. I was young and stupid and had no problem jumping on the “let’s make fun of this guy forever” bandwagon. i don’t recall ever jumping into thinking he was gay and that being something to mock, but like I said I was young and stupid so I might have.after watching that it, I understood a lot more about how he might end up in that situation and was definitely mad at myself for making fun him so quickly back then. His parents seemed loving, but also seemed they raised him in a very sheltered world, and one where everything was binary. just a naïve kid who was Facebook friends with this fake person long before they catfished him, and the victim of a very elaborate hoax. hearing those voices come out of his catfisher was just nuts.also, fuck Deadspin

Your rating…. I’d say a 3/10 because it’s totally unbelievable and unrealistic. There are experts in Survival Skills that fail to last 50+ days on Reality shows and a teenage girl trying to do it using only a Survival Book and zero life experience out in the woods even lasting a week without food, shelter, or survival skills is not realistic. I only finished it because I have flown over that Mountain Range.
