I really just couldn’t get behind this season. This romance between Peter and Rose just doesn’t give me life. She also doesn’t have any sex appeal as well (as does Peter), the storyline between the US and Middle East is a bit redundant. Noors character got on my nerves (& and man her brother same ) .I’m sorry for all the negativity, but I just couldn’t stand it. Does anyone else feel this way ?!

ELI5: What happens/could happen if you take consistently a lot of mosquito bites?

Hey, I don't know why but lately I am being targeted by the mosquito community. I live in a tropical country, it's hot and wet this time of the year and for whatever reason this month there are A LOT of mosquitoes around my house and my job. Some infestation maybe, idk.The point is that I'm taking easily 10 bites daily for the last 45 or 60 days and this seems to be going until it start to get colder. I know that probably 10 isn't a lot but every single day(?)... I also understand that mosquitoes can have diseases or viruses and of course the more you are bitten, higher the chances you get something. But is there any other major problem that could happen to me?

Daughter away at college getting cut off from Netflix

My 19 year old daughter is our main Netflix watcher. She lives in our house but is staying in a college dorm for part of the year. Now we are getting her access cut because of your new anti password sharing policies. Or I can pay another $9/month to let her watch Netflix while she is at college. I pay for the Premium HD package with four instances of Netflix, I have four members of my family. I’m not going pay more and if my daughter can’t watch while at college I’m canceling the entire account.

ELI5: is there any evolutionary advantage to humans being able to mimic most sounds?

Not everybody is able to do so but most people within reason can imitate a broad range of sounds whether it be man made or naturally occurring. I get maybe certain animal noises to attract them while hunting but random things like smoke detectors on low battery or an ambulance siren for example seems pointless.

This series feels like it has been heavily influenced by Portal and could be a kind of live-action Portal adaptation set in a family home, rather than an underground facility.Horst is Cave Johnson, Cassandra is Caroline (and GLaDOS), and her victims are Chell and the various test subjects who had the misfortune of falling under GLaDOS's "care".As a Portal fan, I adored this series.

I canceled my Netflix when they took off The Office years ago and just signed up again once the football season ended.It seems like everything is now a series and movies are rare now. Is it just my algorithm or is this reality? Netflix logs you in when you click verification code in messages

My phone number has belonged to someone else in the past (presumably deactivated and given to me when I got it) and as such just got a Netflix verification code from the poor soul that this number used to belong to. Once I clicked on the link for the code, I was instantly logged in to his account - without password or any sort of verification. I'm assuming this is some sort of bug (pretty big security flaw if you ask me) and was wondering where I could report this sort of thing? Nothing on Netflix's website about reporting bugs.

I took a cruise and the ship stayed offshore and passengers tendered ashore. The ship just stay in one spot without dropping anchors or moored to fixed points. How did the ship keep herself stable, be it from the bobbing of the wave and from drifting away from the spot?
