I've seen on ebay season 1-3 but can't find any details about netflix releasing them. Did netflix only release season 1 or all 3? I love this show and would be willing to fully buy the show if possible but if only season 1 is available then it's kinda pointless in buying just one season

Question about Netflix blu rays

I love the remake of lost in space on Netflix and wondering if I’m streaming only 1080 since I’m on ad plan, is it better to buy the blue ray what’s 1080?? I can rewatch this series at least 2-3 times a year so questioning it since I don’t buy Netflix often. Would the quality be the same or is disc 1080 better than streamed 1080?

Discord screen sharing

I've been screen sharing for a year while my partner is out of country. Now I just get a black screen even with all "acceleration and everything else turned off. Does anyone have any solutions? I'm considering unsubbing because of how inconvenient discord is making their nonsense. I already get banned everytime I leave the country now I can't even screen share with my partner.

Some features/abilities that I believe should have been incorporated by now: Auto-skip introsSet a queue of TV episodes or movies Turn off that ridiculous feature where a new movie starts RIGHT AFTER a movie ends You should be able to tap into any season (i.e. summer, winter) at any time of the year Hulu does okayy at this, but all apps should capsulize festive episodes so you don’t need to be looking for S/E#s Much more advanced genre/content filters What else?

Eric — Episodes/Time Stamps — CSA

I started Eric and I’m enjoying it. However, when trying to find the name of an actor, I ran across something that mentioned visual child sexual assault (CSA).It sounds like a child is SA’d and then murdered. It sounds like it’s shown multiple times — maybe as a recording?I’m a survivor of CSA and I would like to avoid those scenes. Usually, I just skip those scenes, but now I know that it’s repeated, and I’m less confident that I will be quick enough. It’s my understanding that there are no CW for those episodes. I’m not having any luck finding the episodes that have those scenes. Can anyone let me know what episodes have them, or what scenes I can expect to occur beforehand?

ELI5 How do red dot sights project a laser as a flat layer, and is that feature the reason why open frame sights don't exist?

I'm curious to how red dot sights for firearms work in general. After reading up on them it's stated that the laser is projected in the lens as a "flat layer". How is that possible?I've also noticed that all sights have a full frame around the lens/laser, and there aren't any designs reminiscent of futuristic/video game sights like the 1x HCOG in Apex Legends (for reference) where the lens sits between 3 walls with an open top. Is the full frame the only way to make the laser sight work? Sorry for the long, layered question, but I appreciate any answer!

Arcane series 2 is incredible

I’ve just finished the second series of Arcane, and it’s an amazing set of episodes and an involving, thrilling conclusion to what was set up with the first series. If watched series 1 and found it in any form interesting, then do yourself a favor and load up series 2. It’s really, really impressive.

ELI5: Why can't someone live on a heart/lung machine indefinitely?

If the machine is constantly pumping blood through the body and replacing the CO2 with oxygen, why can't someone survive that way indefinitely? Can other organs tell? Does the machine produce slightly different blood than an organic heart/lung combo would and that difference is eventually fatal?

Watched Faster, watched 25% Ads, how common is this?

Watching a movie on Netflix, which we pay for has as many Ads now as watching a movie on regular OTA TV. How did we get here? Multilingual subtitles NEED a revamp

From Breaking Bad to Dexter there are many circumstances where a show that is mostly in one language also has extended conversations spoken in another language and the subtitles either just say [Speaking Spanish] or actually have the subtitles in Spanish. As an English/French bilingual (but practically English monolingual) this is real frustrating.Somebody has to notify somebody that the way these subtitles are handled makes absolutely no sense.
