ELI5: Why is nuclear power controversial if it produces less pollution than fossil fuels?

Nuclear power is often seen as controversial, but it's actually one of the cleanest energy sources we have. It produces almost no carbon emissions, unlike fossil fuels which are a major contributor to climate change. Plus, modern nuclear plants have numerous safety measures in place to prevent accidents. The issue of radioactive waste is often brought up, but it's stored securely and in small quantities compared to the massive pollution from coal and oil. Given these points, shouldn't we be more focused on expanding nuclear energy as a source for power?

Video freezes but the audio is still working. I'm using my phone (android), on all my other devices netflix works fine.

I have never had this issue before but suddenly, the videos kept freezing but the audio is running. At first, it was only on some series or some movies but now it's all of them. I have no idea what to do anymore/IT HAS BEEN DAYS. I HAVE TRIED UNINSTALLING AND INSTALLING NETFLIX APP. I EVEN REBOOTED MY ROUTER. CLEARED CACHE AND STORAGE FOR THE APP BUT STILL NO USE. Anyone else having the same issue and were you able to fix it? Please help me. :<

Netflix doesn't stream in 2K

I have a 2k monitor so I'm paying for the 4k subscription since they don't have a 2k subscription. But netflix still streams in 1080p and the quality looks bad. How can I make it stream in 2k? I'm paying for maximum of 4k. I'm using the display port, should I change to hdmi instead?

Basically a guy was cleaning his riffle and accidentaly fatally shot another dude in a neighboring village through the butt while the victim was doing the deed with someone else's wife. Let start saying the premise of the movie is cheesy as hell. But as I was once a insecure tennager i can see the appeal of it. But the message of the movie is confusing.I was expecting a critic about impossible beauty standards or about discover your individual qualities. Knowing incel and lookmaxing comunities exist on internet I imagine the plot could convince them there is more in life than beauty but I was wrong. The beautiful people are evil because they dont read books and they created energy that ruin Earth soil. The dystopian society exist because humanity poluted Earth in the past, why they are repeating the same mistake if they have more technology? they want control humanity to do what? In the middle of movie Tally have surving skills, climb mountain despite being a tennager that only doom scrool and care about her apperance. Where this come from? she read too much Hunger Games lol. (which is great movie and book)I also think the movie fail to convince why I should I choose to live outside, plant my own food and risky to be attack by bears instead of being perfect, have peacefull mind, living a lavish lifesyle with friends without having to work a single day. I am an adult and I would chose to be perfect in that world lol. I can only hope the book is better.

The Perfect Couple. Abby shouldn't have been arrested?

Look, just to clarify, I believe she deserves to go to jail....but the evidence against her was way too little to be comfortable with if that was all it takes in the real world. Abbys only evidence against her was what she said about her husband going to sleep at 10.30, which we all know was a lie. But that shouldn't even be enough to say she decided to go up and kill someone. Like, that can easily be excused that she didn't want it revealed that she knows her husbands cheats when we all know they are public figures. A very normal lie if anyone was gonna lie to the police. Even one cop mentioned that she probably was embarrassed.But the reason why I say it shouldn't be ok for her to get arrested. Is that it is already mentioned that anyone amongst the family was able to access each others houses. Anyone could have gone into that draw and drugged Marret, and Abby even mentioned she got up from bed a couple of times. Which means there was a window for anyone to get the pill after Thomas. Her cleaning the glass shouldn't even be prove that she had the drug in that glass. Anyone who is pregnant would need water or something and cause smells are really bad when your pregnant too it's believable she can't stand certain things to clean it herself. And to be clear again, I am not defending her, i just find that if we didn't know it was her. The evidence against her was really little to say by law she is undoubtedly guilty.

How does that work?Here in Germany you simply get a letter a few weeks before each election, telling you which voting location you are assigned to and on the election day you simply go there, show your ID (Personalausweis) and you can vote.Why isn't it that easy in the USA?
