Picture quality from episode to next episode.

I’m sure this has been brought up before but there is still a problem with going from one episode to the next and then the picture going blurry. Once you back out or restart the app, the picture is once again clear. I’m watching on the newest ATV with 500mb + wired internet. Does anyone know why this happens and is there a fix ? Is it Netflix or Apple ? This has been like this for quite awhile now. Real frustrating. Thanks.

Is the old windows app still avaible?

Is the old windows netflix app still available? At the end of August it didn't work for me at all, even with the updates disabled. So are we now stuck with the web app for windows? I preferred the old one not only for the downloads but also because it had a better stereo mix imho and it was ideal for pc and headphones. I know there's a procedure to install the old one, I did that but it worked only till late August.

This is why streaming shows get cancelled.

Maybe this is obvious to everyone else, but I think I realized why streaming shows get canceled, even when they are just getting good.Because everyone starts at the beginning. Before streaming, you would hear about a good show and then jump on the bandwagon, wherever it was in the show. Down the road you might buy the DVD or start watching from the start, but generally audiences could be hooked midway through the run. When you watch older shows, you can often see them improve markedly by the second season, when they start to figure things out.Now there is no chance for a show to "find their footing" because EVERYONE watches from the beginning. So if the first season or even first few EPISODES are shaky, then that's that forever. It must be really stressful for filmmakers and creators. I think it also helps explain why semi-strong first seasons don't get renewed either: every audience needs to get through that first season, so if the data shows consistent drop-off, then that's that.Good example of this: Loudermilk. (Prime Video, but same difference). By the end of the second season it's so strong, but there are some real stinkers in that first season, and they sink it.

This post reminded me of this, but I heard of this a long time ago from my ex: he said that since his mother was a redhead, he was more resistant to pain medications than most people, even though he had black hair. I hadn't really believed him until I googled it and people described similar experiences, but I couldn't find a proper explanation for it.How does being a redhead relate to resistance to pain medication? Is there specifically something about having red hair (or the gene for red hair) that affects medicine resistance, or is it simply that the gene is located on the same part of the DNA? Do we know exactly what mechanism is causing the medication resistance, and if so, how does it work?

The dialogue delivery also feels a bit off, almost like it was dubbed from another language, which can be distracting at times.
