Problème audio Love Death + Robots S4 : Can't Stop"

Bonjour,Membre depuis janvier 2022, j'ai signalé plusieurs dysfonctionnements aussi bien audio que sous-titres.Cependant, à chaque fois qu'un signalement est envoyé, j'ai l'impression que Netflix ne réagit pas.Là , il s'agit de la saison 4 de la série LD+R où tous les épisodes sont proposés dans plusieurs langues sans ou avec audiodescription, sauf l'épisode Can't Stop où l'audiodescription est imposée.J'ai envoyé un signalement écrit, il y a quelques jours. Ne voyant pas le problème corrigé, j'ai appelé Netflix.Je suis tombé sur un employé de chez Netflix qui m'a dit que c'est lié aux licences qu'ils possèdent, aux droits d'auteurs et à l'entreprise d'édition au lieu de dire que c'est un oubli ou une erreur technique (Mais bien sûr... !!! Et c'est la marmotte qui met le chocolat dans le papier alu).Comme je l'ai indiqué sur la 1ère ligne, j'ai émis plusieurs signalements comme par exemple un épisode de "Classic" Ben 10, où il y a une distorsion tout le long d'un épisode sur l'ensemble des 3 saisons.Netflix m'avait sorti le même baratin pour ce problème-là.Je ne serai pas étonné que certains passent par d'autres méthodes, plus ou moins illégales, pour un service médiocre et abusif.La seule chose (positive) : c'est que je ne suis pas le seul à l'avoir signalé, d'après cet employé.

Netflix really wants a resub

I canceled my Netflix account about two months ago because we don’t really use it much anymore. The problem I have is every time we turn on our Samsung TV it’s asking for us to resub. I even deleted the Netflix app… getting quite annoying and honestly this shouldn’t be happening. Does this happen to anyone else?

Adolescence vs Dept Q. Actors living in the moment vs actors acting, a short rant.

Many of us love a good procedural. Adolescence was unique in many ways. The single shot experience is amazing. But contrasted with Dept Q, it really showcases a slowed down, normal way of talking that is rare in tv. I'm very much into the story of Dept Q, but far too often the characters are slinging witticisms, even normal ideas, back and forth clearly faster than normal cognition allows. Nothing too wrong with it, its exciting and fun. In early Guy Ritchie movies its amazing. When Jeremey Brett does it as Sherlock Holmes you believe it. But in this show, for me at least, it kinda breaks the spell. Adolescence told a great story in four episodes, and every character was understandably too busy digesting the situation and processing their emotions to be pumping us with dialogue - that is great tv! Fast pace high level dialogue is a choice, a gamble, and ultimately a hard sell, especially for a 'procedural.'

Netflix on LG TV - new layout missing some sections

Hello, contrary to popular opinion, I am not that much disappointed by new layout. The large tiles are fine by me. HOWEVER, there are two important things missing from the interface, and that is "New and popular", which was far most used section by me. And it is NOT even hidden in the home section. This, and the "coming this week", "coming next week", "worth the wait" were great functionalities. another missing section is games, but dont care about it. was crap anyway, most of the games.So I wanted to ask, if something is wrong with my TV (its about 5 years old), or if its a feature and not a bug, or if they plan to update the app. Obviously, theres a workaround, i can still see "new and popular" in PC or mobile app, pin it to "my shows" and then follow on TV, but it feels cheap and uncomfortable. any info would be greatly appreciated.

ELI5: What exactly is the speed of causality, and why can nothing ever go faster than it?

I just found out the speed limit of the universe is really the speed of causality (c), not the speed of light (which also happens to be c, the speed of causality).Im having a difficult time wrapping my mind around what this means; can somebody please ELI5 wth causality even means, and why it has a speed limit?

Why are we paying more for the new horrible interface?

It’s so hard to search. They are trying to follow Disney+ ? Makes it so much harder to look for new shows. Every show gets enlarged. You really don’t feel like searching after awhile. Anyway to get back the old interface?

my netflix has the literal worst interface I have ever seen on my TV

I am one of the unlucky saps who got stuck with the new interface, I opened it said what the fuck, scrolled and immediately decided I am NOT using my netflix because wdym I have FOUR slots to look at??? it’s 100% an AI algorithm too.. which just makes it worse because I haven’t ever watched anything remotely to what’s being reccomended, why is the SETTINGS gone? who thought this shit was a good idea??? I used to be able to see like 30 things on my screen because they were smaller, but I can’t even see the next row… this is literally THE WORST interface i’ve seen on a streaming service and Km very tempted to just cancel 🙃

ELI5: If gravity becomes stronger and stronger as you approach a black hole…

To the point where time stops at the event horizon of the black hole, then does that mean there are no actual black holes that have ever had enough time to yet form in the universe? Are they more like “almost” black holes? According to my admittedly very limited knowledge of time dilation, there would not have been enough time yet that has unfolded in the universe for there to be a true black hole.Or am I thinking moreso in the case of a “singularity”? And if that is the case does that mean there ARE black holes that you could never escape from, but as you pass the event horizon, the singularity would be forming before your eyes as the entire history of the universe unfolds behind you?

ELI5 Why are people afraid of GMO crops

Are they just unaware of what genes are and how they work? Genes are translated to rna and transcribed into proteins. Proteins are broken down into their constituent amino acids in your stomach and small intestine, and all amino acids are safe to eat in any reasonable quantity. You can literally drink snake venom and suffer no ill effects, the proteins (which are damaging if injected into your bloodstream) are simply broken down in your digestive system like any other protein. So why do people think that adding a few genes to various crops for drought or disease resistance makes them less optimal to consume?

So pain is structurally necessary, you wouldnt feel pleasure without it. You have to be dead first in order to experience life. If you change how you view pain, you realize it's just as substancial as pleasure. It's transformative, its the best teacher one can have and it's a necessity for growth. It can be channeled.

YSK: Canon 916 of the Code Of Canon Law of The Catholic Church clearly states: 'A person who is conscious of grave sin is not to celebrate Mass or receive the body of the Lord'. Atheism is a mortal sin as Paragraph 2125 of the Catechism Of The Catholic Church says: 'Atheism is a sin against the virtue of religion'. This means an atheist should not celebrate mass or take communion, which means a Catholic parent with an atheist child should not force them to do this as it would break Canon Law. Why YSK: Many Catholic parents will force their children who don't believe to go to Mass and take communion as they think it is a requirement but the Canon Law of the Catholic Church clearly says to so the opposite. So if you are a Catholic parent with an unbelieving child, don't force them to go to Mass on Sunday and eat the eucharist. ELI5, Finding The Beat in Music

I, fundamentally do not understand music. I enjoy some music - mostly in the context of musical theatre where the songs lyrics are the major focus, but I do not enjoy just listening to music. I find it kind of stressful, if I'm honest - there's a lot of competing elements that I cannot parse. The problem comes now, because I have been taking ballroom dancing classes - I have been able to do the steps well enough and I am enjoying the process but I am not hitting the timing. And I know this is frustrating the people I dance with "listen for the beat" they say or "feel for the time to move" but I cannot hear it nor can I feel it. Sometimes they will time it out for me but I still cannot understand what part of the sound is telling them that it's time to move. Sometimes I get it by accident and for a moment people are pleased with me - but it is always by accident.This is probably something people understand instinctively, but I'm hoping if I can just have it pulled apart the right way I will understand it mechanically and be able to practice it with different pieces of music until I understand enough to fake feeling it. Can someone please explain like I'm 5 (or perhaps explain like I'm an alien?) how beats in music work? How do you make it out underneath all the different competing elements?
