Man duct-taped after trying to open exit door on American Airlines flight to Chicago

Passengers on an #AmericanAirline flight bound for #Chicago Tuesday jumped in to help restrain a passenger who attempted to open a plane door, according to information from witnesses and airline officials.

The intervention took place on AA Flight 1219 after the plane departed from #Albuquerque, #NM bound for O'Hare International Airport.

IDF resumes combat against Hamas

Following rocket fire towards Israel, IDF announces renewal of fighting in Gaza. 'Hamas violated operational pause.'

The #IDF has announced the renewal of fighting in #Gaza, after the #Hamas terror organization violated the terms of the operational pause.

The pause was set to expire at 7:00a.m. Friday morning, but reports by the Wall Street Journal claimed that an agreement was reached on extending the ceasefire by a day. This report was not confirmed by #Israel, and by Friday morning, Israel had not yet received a new list of hostages to be freed.

At 5:48a.m. Friday morning, sirens sounded in Israeli communities near the Gaza border. A few minutes later, the IDF announced that it had successfully intercepted a launch from Gaza.

An hour later, at 6:53a.m., sirens sounded in the Israeli community of Holit, located near the Gaza border. Less than half an hour later, at 7:05a.m.. the IDF announced, "Hamas violated the operational pause, and in addition, fired toward Israeli territory."

"The IDF has resumed combat against the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip."

Two Israeli hostages were rescued tonight in Gaza, Fernando Simon Marman (60) and Louis Har (70), who were kidnapped by the Hamas terrorist organization on October 7th from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak.

They are both in good medical condition, and were transferred for medical examination at the Sheba Tel Hashomer hospital.

Boris Johnson Joins London March Against Antisemitism

Tens of thousands of demonstrators, some waving Israeli and British flags, marched against antisemitism through central London on Sunday. The protest, which unconfirmed reports claimed drew over 100,000 people, came a day after large pro-Palestinian crowds took to the streets of Britain’s capital to demand a full ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.

The UK has seen a spike in antisemitic incidents since the unprecedented deadly Hamas onslaught in Israel on October 7 unleashed war in the Gaza Strip. “The hate has got to disappear. You can’t have hate on either side,” 69-year-old retiree Michael Jennings told AFP, as the march began outside the Royal Courts of Justice.
