This is the gospel, the welcoming heart of GOD. GOD also cheers when we come to him with our wobbling,
unsteady prayers. JESUS does not say, "Come to me, all you who have learned how to concentrate in prayer, whose minds no longer wander, and I will give you rest."
No, JESUS opens his arms to
his needy children and says, "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, NASB).
The criteria for coming to JESUS is weariness. Come overwhelmed with life. Come with your wandering mind. Come messy.
What does it feel like to be weary? You have trouble concentrating. The problems of the day are like claws in your brain. You feel pummeled by life.
What does heavy-laden feel like? Same thing.
You have so many problems you don't even know where to start. You can't do life on your own anymore. Jesus wants you to come to him that
way!
Your weariness drives you to him.

Last time we have said self-control is a matter of #choice.
So, we have said it is a matter of choosing what kind of choices…?
The choices are either choosing the right or the wrong way. Jesus once said” …I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (----John 14:6----) since Jesus said those words then other than him there is no way, no truth, and no life. By these he is proving that he is the right way and sin (opposite of Christ) is the wrong way. so, when we chose to stick to the right way, we say no to sin but when we stick to the wrong way we say no to Jesus.
While the tendency to sin has been passed on to us from our first parents, we are also sinners by choice. When we reach the age of accountability and are faced by the choice between good and evil, we all at some time or other choose to get angry, to tell a lie, to act selfishly. As David said: "Behold I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me" (---Psalm 51:5---). This does not mean that he was born out of marriage, but rather that he inherited the tendency to sin from his parents. Thus, Jeremiah said: "The heart is dishonest above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" (---Jeremiah 17:9---).
The Bible vividly puts it like this: "Sin lieth at the door" (---Genesis 4:7---). Given the right circumstances, most of us are capable of almost any wrongdoing. This does not mean that every person is lacking all qualities pleasing to men. Man may have certain moral qualities. He may be a gentleman in every sense of the word. However, the Scriptures teach that every person is poor of that love for God that is the fundamental requirement of the law. It means that the average man is given to prefer "His desire " over God. In which his desires lead him towards sin. God's holiness reacts against sin, because He is a holy God.
Therefore, to choose the right way which is Jesus we have to complete the fundamental requirement of the law which is only to #love_God.

The Ressurection - The unequivocal evidence of our faith
1 Corinthians 15:17(NIV)
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
If Christ has not risen from death our entire faith would be based on lies and Christianity would be the greatest fraud in history. That's how important the resurrection is to our faith because it proves everything Jesus claimed to be was right. Oftentimes when we preach the gospel we stop at Jesus’ death but his death alone wouldn’t give us new life, for it is because Christ has risen from death that we have received a new life and have hope to be transformed into a new body when he returns. Jesus is “the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep” (1 Corinthians 15:20). In other words, Jesus led the way in life after death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is important as a testimony to the resurrection of human beings, which is a basic tenet of the Christian faith. Jesus’ resurrection proves that physical death is not the termination of human existence. God, who is the giver of life (1 Timothy 6:13), has the power to reanimate the human body. Christ’s triumph over the grave is Heaven’s pledge to us that we too shall be raised.

²² Then Aaron lifted his hands toward the people and blessed them. And having #sacrificed_the_sin_offering, #the_burnt_offering_and_the_fellowship_offering, he stepped down.
²³ Moses and Aaron then went into the Tent of Meeting. When they came out, they blessed the people; and the #glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.
²⁴ #Fire came out from the #presence of the Lord and #consumed the #burnt_offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted for #joy and fell facedown.
Right after God separeted Aaron and his four sons for the ministry of priesthood, we see Aaron sacrificing a lamb on the alter. He first sacrificed a lamb for his own sins and then a lamb for the sins of the people of Israel.
The sacrificed lamb was consumed by the fire that came out from the presence of God. This showed that God had accepted the sacrifice that was offered on the alter and that the people could now be pardoned for their sins. This fire could have reigned on the people to consume them and that would have been a just act. God could have chosen to punish the people of Israel for all their sin. But we see God accepting the sacrifice Aaron had offered on their behalf. The lamb on the alter took the fire that was meant for the people. Now all that was left was to rejoice in the full presence of God and that was exactly what the people of Israel did.
Thank God we have such a lamb. Thank God we have a lamb that is worthy of acceptance. Thank God we have a lamb that willingly sacrificed himself so all who believe in him may be pardoned.

ሰው ህግን ለመፈጸም በታገለ ልክ ህግን ያለመፈጸም tendency ይታይበታል ምክንያቱም ህግ ጉድለቱን ብቻ እየለየ ያሳያል እንጂ ሀጢያትን ያለመፈጸም አቅም አይሰጠንም። ክርስቶስ በመስቀል ላይ ሲሞት ይህ እርሱ የሚፈልገውን ህይወት እንዳንኖር የከለከለንን ሀጢያት እዳ ከፈለልን እናም በትንሳኤው He empowers us to live for him in a way that pleases God. አሁን የምንኖረው ህይወት በእግዚአብሔር ልጅ ላይ ባለን እምነት ብቻ ነው።
ከክርስቶስ ጋር ተሰቅዬአለሁ ስንል በሞቱ በኩል አዲስን ህብረት እንደጀመርን አጉልቶ የሚያሳይ እና እርሱ ለኛ ያደረገውን ሁሉ የምናወራበት ድፍረት ይሰጠናል። በዚሁ መረዳት ያለብን ነገር ቢኖር "ተሰቅዬአለሁ" ስንል it refers to ባለቤቱ በሰራው ስራ ላይ ማረፋችንን እንጂ it doesn't mean "I need to try harder to live for God". ክርስቶስ በሌለበት እግዚአብሔርን ለመቅረብ የምናደርገው ማንኛውም ጥረት የኛ ጥረት እና ሩጫ ከክርስቶስ የመስቀል ላይ ስራ ይበልጣል የሚልን wrong interpretation ይፈጥራል።
የተሰራው ላይ ብቻ በመመልከት የክርስትና ጉዞአችንን እንድንቀጥል ጌታ ይርዳን።

Christ has volunteered to bear a punishment instead of us. Now on the face of it that is a very silly theory.
The central Christian belief is that Christ’s death has somehow put us right with God and given us a fresh start.
We are told that Christ was killed for us, that His death has washed out our sins, and that by dying He disabled death itself. That is the formula. That is Christianity. That is what has to be believed. Any theories we build up as to how Christ’s death did all this are, in my view, quite secondary: mere plans or diagrams to be left alone if they do not help us, and, even if they do help us, not to be confused with the thing itself. All the same, some of these theories are worth looking at.

Prayer connects us to the power of God, which is weapon to defeat spiritual enemies, to get strength, to back rest on God ...etc...
“በጸሎትና በልመናም ሁሉ ዘወትር በመንፈስ ጸልዩ፤ በዚህም አሳብ ስለ ቅዱሳን ሁሉ እየለመናችሁ በመጽናት ሁሉ ትጉ፤”
— ኤፌሶን 6፥18
After describing the armor of God, Paul adds another important part of spiritual battle #prayer. This is not a piece of spiritual armor, but it's essential to win spiritual battles.
Paul then notes some specific applications of prayer in this verse.
1. Perseverance(በልመና)
We do not pray once each day and then stop. We have to talk with God persistently and about all matters. Nothing is too big or too small to discuss with the Lord.
2. In spirit (በመንፈስ)
First, believers have to pray in the Spirit. Our prayers are not merely our thoughts or about our desires, but are to be done in submission to God.
3. Alert(ዘወትር)
Next, we are to keep alert. While we may not be literally praying every second, there is never a good time to set prayer. It's a tool we need to have in constant use.
“ሳታቋርጡ ጸልዩ፤ በሁሉ አመስግኑ፤ ይህ የእግዚአብሔር ፈቃድ በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ወደ እናንተ ነውና።”
— 1ኛ ተሰሎንቄ 5፥17-18
4. Believers (ለቅዱሳን)
Finally, Paul highlights the importance of praying for the needs of other believers. We praise God in prayer, pray for our own needs, and also pray for the needs of others.

Stop worrying about any thing God is a perfect planner so abandon everything thing to him.

Pray about everything there is no little things that God ignores so try to pray each and everything.

ራስን ስለመግዛት ከሰው ዘንድ የሆነ አስተያየት ቢሰጥም እንደ ሙሉ ምላሽ አድርጎ መዉሰድ ይከብዳል ። ምክንያቱም ሙሉ ለሙሉ እራሴን ገዝቻለው ምንም የቀረኝ የለም የሚል ወንድ አልተገኘም ።
ነገር ግን በብዙ የህይወት መስፈሪያ ልክ ያልተገኘለት ጌታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ለእኛ ማስተማሪያ ይሆን ዘንድ ሙሉ ለሙሉ ራሱን ገዝቶ አሳየን። ታድያ ወንድሞቼ ራስን ስለመግዛት #Bible ምን ይላል? ደግሞስ በጥቂቱ ከእኛ የተሻሉትስ ምን አሉ?
“የመንፈስ ፍሬ ግን ፍቅር፥ ደስታ፥ ሰላም፥ ትዕግሥት፥ ቸርነት፥ በጎነት፥ እምነት፥ የውሃት፥ ራስን መግዛት ነው።”

በግሪክ ቃሉ "EGKARTIA" በመባል ይታወቃል ሲተረጎም እራስን መግዛት ።
አንድ ታሪክ ላውጋችው lara Velez ትባላለች በ"fruit of the spirit" በተባለ መጽሐፏ ላይ ለብዙ አመታት በንዴት ራሷን መግዛት እንዳቃታት እና ብዙ ጸሎቶች እና ትምህርቶች ራሷን ለመግዛት መፍትሄ የሆኗት ደግሞም ይህንን ነገር ድል እንድታደርግ እግዚአብሔር የመንፈስ ቅዱስን ሀይል እንደሰጣት ታስረዳለች።
ራስን መግዛት ዉስጥ ያለውን ፍላጎቶቻችንን ከመግታት ይጀምራል ። ይህንን ነገር ባደርገው ምን ያህል ይጠቅመኛል ? ምን ያህልስ ዋጋ ያስከፍለኛል?...... ስለዚህ ራስን መግዛት #ምርጫ ነው። መጽሐፍ እንደሚል......
“ሁሉ ተፈቅዶልኛል፥ ሁሉ ግን አይጠቅምም። ሁሉ ተፈቅዶልኛል፥ በእኔ ላይ ግን አንድ ነገር እንኳ አይሠለጥንብኝም።”
— 1ኛ ቆሮንቶስ 6፥12
ስለዚህ እግዚአብሔር የመምረጥ ነጻነት እንደሰጠን ሁሉ እኛ ደግሞ በምረጡኝ ቅስቀሳው ልባችንን ወዳሸነፈው እንመለከታለን ።

ስለ ንስሃ ለማወቅ አስቀድሞ ስለ ሃጢያት ማወቅ ግድ ነው። ሃጢያት አመጻ ነው። ሃጢያት የክፋት አዙሪት ወይም ከውርደት ወደ ውርድት ማሽቆልቆል ነው። ሃጢያት ድንበር መጣስ በውል የታወቀን ክልል መተላለፍ ነው። ሃጢያት ስርአት አልበኝነትም ነው። እግዚአብሄርን በመታዘዝ ውስጥ የሆነ ነገር ላጣ ችላለሁ የሚል ፍርሃት ሰውን ወደ አመጽ መርቶታል። ስለዚህም ሰው ሁሉን ለእግዚአብሄር ለመተው ከመፍራት በመነጨ ሰለራስ መጨነቅ ተበረታቶ ራሱን በእግዚአብሄር ቦታ አቁሟል። ሃጢያት እግዚአብሄር የእኛን ደስታ እና እርካታ እንደሚወድ ለማመን አሻፈረኝ ማለት ነው። ራስን ፍጡር ሳይሆን ፈጣሪ ማድረግ (ሮሜ1፡25) ሃጢያት ከእግዚአብሄር ውጪ ራስን ችሎ ለመኖር መፍጨርጨር ነው። ሰው እግዚአብሄርን እሺ በማለት ፈንታ እንቢ ማለት ምርጫው ያደረገው የሃጢያት አስኳሉ ከእግዚአብሄር ነጻ ለመሆን መፈለግ ስለሆነ ነው። ነጻነት የሚገኘው ግን እግዚአብሄርን በመታዘዝ፣ ከእግዚአብሄር ጋር ህብረት በማድረግ እና በእግዚአብሄር ላይ ጥገኛ በመሆን ብቻ ነው። እግዚአብሄር መልካም ፣ ለእኛ የሚያስብ ፣ ሁሉን አዋቂ ፣ አፍቃሪ ፣ የሚራራ ፣ የሰው ልጆችን የሚወድ እና ፈተናዎቻቸውን ሁሉ የሚረዳ አምላክ ነው። በሃሳቡም ሆነ በድርጊቱ ውስጥ ምንም ክፋት አይገኝበትም ይልቁኑም ከፍቅር ይመነጫሉ። ትእዛዛቶቹ እኛን ከመውደድ የተሰጡ ናቸው ለእርሱ እየተገዙ መኖር ለእኛ ህይወትን ፣ ደስታን ፣ እርካታን ያስገኝልናል ከዚህ በተቃራኒው ግን እኛ እነዚህን ነገሮች ሃጢያት ውስጥ እንፈልጋቸዋለን። እኛ የሰው ልጆች ደጋግመን ሃጢያትን ብናደርግ፣ እግዚአብሄር የእኛን ደስታ እና እርካታ በትእዛዞቹ በኩል ሊያሳጣን እየሞከረ ያለ ቢመስለን እና ባንታዛዝ ራሳችንን በመውደድ ከመንገዱ ፈቀቅ ብንል በምህረት የምንመለስበት መንገድ በክርስቶስ ዘርግቶልናል። ክርስቶስ ስለ ሃጢያታችን ሞቷል። እግዚአብሄርን ማምለክ እንዴት መታደል ነው!

In a garden named Gethsemane a man whom an entire nation hoped will be their king cried out saying ”my soul is troubled” this was hours before he would be whipped until his body is torn; pierced till he would bleed and suffer unimaginable agony and hang on a cross naked. This man named Jesus was the most innocent person to have ever lived on this planet yet all this for what? The prophet Isaiah declares hundreds of years before saying “ surely he has borne our grief and carried out sorrows” and “by his stripes we are healed” Now the question is was it worth it? The prophet answers this question clearly saying “ He shall see [the fruit] of the travail of His soul and be satisfied; by His knowledge of Himself [which He possesses and imparts to others] shall My [uncompromisingly] righteous One, My Servant, justify many and make many righteous (upright and in right standing with God)”
So the fruit of all this was for one thing so that he may justify many, not for us to feel sorry for him but to believe what he paid is for us and by faith accept his righteousness. This is Christ our Passover whosoever believes in him will not be put to shame because this same Jesus has risen from the dead and is alive ready to answer to those who call him by faith. Jesus Paid it All!

The Jar
Jesus, as I join You today on Your journey to the cross, prepare my heart to participate with You in the dark shadows of Good Friday and the bright dawn of Easter Sunday.
Pause and pray
It is four days before Jesus’ death. He is relaxing in Bethany, just outside Jerusalem. Something shocking and prophetic is about to take place.

The perfume poured out on Jesus’ head in this story was astoundingly precious; made, according to the Gospels of Mark and John, from pure nard, which comes from a plant that only grows in the Himalayas. It had travelled 3,500 miles, and it was worth 300 denarii – a year’s wages – and yet it was all emptied out upon Jesus’ head. The extravagance is breathtaking. The whole house was filled with its fragrance. Jesus’ body may still have been carrying hints of this very scent upon the cross.
What is the most valuable thing I could pour out upon Jesus today? Is He inviting me to waste some of my precious time in worship, or to relinquish a particular relationship, or to surrender something I own – in order to demonstrate my love for him?
Pause and pray
When the disciples were discussing how to feed the five thousand people, Philip pointed out that it would cost more than 200 denarii to do so. This little jar of perfume worth 300 denarii could have fed more than five thousand people. No wonder the disciples were indignant and said that it could have fed the poor.
Does my passion for justice and my desire for results sometimes make worship seem self-indulgent? How might I waste a little money, efficiency, or credibility for Christ’s glory today?
Pause and pray
We often talk about Jesus anointing us to do great things, but in this story, we see that we can anoint Jesus too. The name Jesus Christ literally means Jesus the ‘anointed one’. As we begin this journey towards Easter, let us anoint Him as our Christ with the costly sacrifice of exorbitant gratitude.
Jesus, I love You with all my heart, all my soul and all my strength. But I’m sorry that, so often I give You the least of my time, the last of my money, and the leftovers of my worship. This week, I want to pour the best of myself out for You, knowing that You will soon pour out Your very life for me.

ክርስቶስ ከፍ ከፍ ስለማለቱ ሲናገር he was primarily referencing to the cross, but his words also include the resurrection in its meaning በዚህም ሀጢያተኞችን በደ ራሱ ለማምጣት ምክንያት ሆኖአል ።
⁹ ክርስቶስ ከሙታን ተነሥቶአልና፣ ዳግመኛ እንደማይሞት እናውቃለንና፤ ሞት ከእንግዲህ በእርሱ ላይ ጒልበት አይኖረውም።
¹⁰ በሞተ ጊዜ፣ ለአንዴና ለመጨረሻ ጊዜ ለኀጢአት ሞቶአል፤ ነገር ግን በሕይወት መኖርን ለእግዚአብሔር ይኖራል። --ሮሜ 6: 9-10 (አዲሱ መ.ት)
The cross is the centerpiece of the Gosple and the magnetizing force of Christianity.

በመስቀሉ ሞት:
📌በሀጢያት ላይ በተሰጠ ፍርድ የእግዚአብሔርን ፍትሀዊነት
📌ለሀጢያተኛው በሰጠው ይቅርታ የእግዚአብሔርን ፍቅር እና ምህረት
📌በሞት ላይ ድል በማድረጉ የእግዚአብሔርን ሀይል አይተናል።

📎በመስቀሉ ላይ ከፍ ብሎ ሲሰቀል የሰውን ልብ ወደራሱ መሳብ አስችሎታል just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the son of man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.
📎The snake was elevated on the a pole so that all of Israel could see it and be healed, just as Jesus was lifted up on the cross so that all might see him and be drawn to him for salvation.
