As a trader, if you learn to sit on your hands 50 percent of the time, you will make a lot of money.

This is the bane of many traders. They haven't learnt "how to not trade" when there isn't anything interesting in the market place. Common, you don't force a setup, or try to always get in on a trade.

Emotional mastery is one key thing you want to learn as a trader. It preserves your Mental Capital, and preserve your book balance in your broker. It saves you stress and loss of money.

This is one fact you may never get to hear from your "wannabe" Instagram or YouTube "rich" traders, but hear me now,

Trading is the most difficult way to make "easy" money.

The sooner you know that, the earlier you start being diligent with your studies, to develop yourself all round, from your Skills (10%), to your Money Management (30%), to your Psychology (60%) which accounts for a Successful trading career.

Trading is plain stack, difficult. And it takes a lot of Mental Resilience to be able to scale through till you get to profitability. And the timing is different for everyone. So don't compare yourself with anyone. It leads to a dead end.

That said, don't beat yourself when you have losses. Have a long term goal in your trading career. Something like this, "I will keep working on myself for 2-3yrs till I ever consider quitting."

If folks go to school for a 4yrs course, some 5yrs, to get certified in a field, why can't you embrace such discipline too? When you discover you don't have such long term vision and discipline, just know that you're a greedy fellow, and you won't last in this field, no matter how much you make now. Put that to heart.

What you see on IG, YouTube, for the most part...isn't true. No, it isn't. Don't be fooled. They want you to believe they are trading..the truth is, the majority are not. They (most of them) live off your mentorship fee. Quite clear to discern.

To the simple at heart, you will run with this, and make amends.

Remember,
Trading is the most difficult way to make "easy" money.

In trading, there are always a multitude of possibilities.

When you consider the scenarios where you're wrong - then you'll no longer overleverage because the possibility of a certainty is dissolved and all you're left with is a probability.

Despite how "high probability" something may be, by default, there is a "low probability" that it does not happen - thus the desire to overleverage should dissipate in most rational individuals.

An Easter to remember yet again.

The beauty of Redemption,

God became a man, to save,
His Son, Christ Jesus,
Laid His life down in all its glory, to die for the same creation that He created,
This defeats human intelligence or reasoning,
This is Redemption.

All of humanity gropes for a "god,"
To worship, to esteem,
Many create a god after their lust, some make wooden images, others have gods in things they esteem,
Yet it doesn't end the search for the true God,
God in Christ, the Son of Man, Jesus Christ.
This is Redemption.

This same faith answers the question of existentiality,
No other faith does.
It gives Purpose to man.
God wanting a family, a family of Sons,
And He achieved that by laying down His life to save.
Termed weak for a sovereign "God" to die,
Yet therein lies His Wisdom, to save man, laying down His life to save,
This is Redemption.

His never ending love,
Calling all men to believe in that same message,
Faith in the heart about the Christ, His death and resurrection for Sins, for man's sins,
Brings a man to this family, this family of Sons, God's family,
Then, man truly can find peace,
Not defined in things, but only in what gives meaning to life alone,
God in man, His Spirit in man,
This is Redemption.

The reason for Easter, the death, burial and Resurrection of the Christ,
God died to save, He became a man to save,
Revelation alone makes man comprehends this, not in human reasoning,
Faith in His death and resurrection, gives meaning to every man, who sees this never ending love of the Father,
And believes it.
Peace unending, birth in the man,
He never remains the same.
This is Redemption.

This is my faith,
To as many, I call you to this same faith,
Not just hearing it, but believing it in your heart.

This is Redemption,
God is now Father to us,
And we (who believe) are now in His family,
And He alone gives Purpose and meaning to life.

An Easter to remember yet again,
God became man,
Christ Jesus.
This is Redemption.
