Gullibly repeating whatever fanfiction conspiracy theory gets one excited without doing proper due diligence is what's counterproductive to our efforts, my urging of logic and common sense is not. Means you're being lead to believe some person or group did a thing, but it was really someone else.

There's this narrative going around that the Nashville shooting was fake/staged because "the shooter had different shoes on".
This is the result of grainy footage and jumping to conclusions.
Looking closer and from a different angle, shooter had Vans shoes on the whole time. Shooter wasn't wearing Pumas/different shoes.
This case vs. Binance shows that even in "decentralized" crypto, there is an issue with centralizing institutions, and the rampant fraud in crypto is hampering it's potential.
Also - funny the govt. has all this to say about crypto, but what about fraud in traditional banking?
