Nestled in the thriving locality of Edappally, the Changampuzha Samskarika Kendram (CSK) stands as a haven for art and culture enthusiasts. Spanning across a one-acre and fifty-five-cent public park, the CSK is a living tribute to the renowned Malayalam romantic poet, Changampuzha Krishna Pillai. The park, named after the poet, has become a vibrant cultural hub within the Greater Cochin area.
The CSK's journey began in 1997, fueled by the passion of art and culture lovers. With a commitment to promoting the unique cultural heritage of Kerala, CSK has grown to include over 3000 life members, 17 institutional members, and three organizational members. The center operates under the Charitable and Cultural Societies Act, with a 32-member executive committee at its helm.

🐘 Abhayaranyam mini zoo
Often known for Elephants in the state, the Abhayaranyam mini zoo is located at Kaprikkad village in Ernakulam district. Discs & Machines - Sunny's Gramophone Museum and Records Archive
Located at an hour’s drive from Kottayam, Sunny’s Gramophone Museum also known as Discs & Machines, is a unique private venture which is one of its kind in the country. Established in the year 1958, the Peechi-Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary is the second oldest wildlife sanctuary in Kerala. The northern boundary of the Chimmony Wildlife Sanctuary is also formed by the reserve.

🏖 Payyoli Beach
Located only 36 km north of Kozhikode and renowned as the hometown of the famous athlete P. T. Usha is the quaint village of Payyoli. This village was first recognised when Vasco Da Gama, the famous Portuguese traveller, discovered a sea route to India and arrived at Kappad Beach, 21 km from Payyoli. The entire village is cradled in the laps of nature and has been blessed with scenic beauty like nowhere else. The palm-fringed Payyoli Beach is a major attraction here and is the getaway relief for many travellers. During December, thousands of Olive Ridley Turtles crawl onto the beach and lay eggs! Many tourists visit Payyoli especially during the hatching season to witness the incredible phenomenon of birth taking place in the picturesque environs of this serene beach. The beach is also very close to an estuary of the Moorad River which is an absolute haven for bird watchers.

⛰ Amappara - That Thrilling Journey
It’s a rickety ride, bobbing and bouncing off the rocks, as you wend your way on the off-road track paved by Nature herself! After the thrilling, adventurous ride, you reach the pinnacle where two giant rocks await you in all their splendour. These mammoth rocks lean on each other, and overlook the deep valley. In its shape, the structure resembles a tortoise and hence the name Amappara [tortoise-rock].
Perched at the crest of the hill, the rocks look as if they hang from space. To reach there, you need to hop over a set of huge boulders, squeeze yourself through a jumble of rocks and continue your journey. Continue walking until you reach the pinnacle, where the rocks gape into the lush valley. As you stand sandwiched between the rocks, gazing at the verdant valley and rolling hills, time stops. You can explore the many caves and boulders as you spend time here, and each offers a tranquil moment.

⛰ Vayalada, Kozhikode
Known as the Gavi of Malabar, Vayalada is a mesmerizing hilltop destination located near Balusseri in Kozhikode district. Like the famous hill station of Gavi at Pathanamthitta, Vayalada has a nip in the air, with mist and greenery all around.
The scenic peak is located 40 km from Kozhikode and 12 km from Balusseri. Situated 2,000 ft above sea level, the hill is a favourite among weekend trekkers.
The one km-odd trekking amid great scenery is worth the climb. Once at the top, a magical treat awaits visitors and if it is the season of monsoon, then the hill station exudes a bewitching charm. Urumbikkara – A Captivating Castle of Greenery

Trichur Woodland
Kerala is called God's Own Country for good reason. From it backwaters to its lush green hills and verdant forests, the coastal state is indeed a paradise for tourists. Among the several forests that are popular among trekkers and campers is Trichur Forest. The forest is also an inviting place for nature lovers who love to explore the flora and fauna of the jungle. But animals are not as much of a threat in Trichur Forest as the spirit of a young soul that supposedly roams around and spooks people out.
The story goes that there is the spirit of a boy aged seven or eight years that still haunts the forest but does not really harm anyone. However, if you happen to witness it, you are bound to be scared for life. Many have seen the boy in the night but there is no trace of him in the morning. According to one account, he was alone camping in the forest when he saw a boy sitting on a rock staring at his fire. He sat there for hours on end but was gone in the morning. The author of this account even checked out the area and asked around if there was a boy missing and looked for footsteps too but in vain. He hasn't been able to solve the mystery of this incident till today.
