- No KRE / incentives for apps (paused)
- No new dev grants/on hold
- New KRE (experiment proposal)
- Kin Reserve (voting experiment proposal)
- No employees at Kin Foundation (expects a ‘developer community’ to replace it)
- Code abandone bits and will be back with Kin idea (to be launched ‘in the coming months’)

Just in 🚨‼️ Kin Foundation team resigns and Ted remains the sole director of the Kin Foundation. The rest of the team will consider launching a new project, leveraging Kinetic and its SDKs (all being open-source).

ℹ️ The only board member at Kin Foundation is now Ted Livingston. The ecosystem and community is still there, but it’s not clear yet how the foundation will be restructured and if Ted will get the ecosystem/community support to move forward.
It happened after Code Inc. (Ted) decided to do an airdrop of a new token for their app because he wasn’t agreed with the rest of board members in some aspects at the foundation to keep it operative. After that event, the other boards members at KF decided to step down with this attached announcement, where is mentioned also an other alternative could came in their side for the ecosystem.
*There are divided opinions now and different community ideas around. We will keep updating the community channels looking for the best interest of the ecosystem & the community. We expect to have more info later this week.
