What is ERC404? 🤔
ERC404 is a new way of defining digital assets (like tokens or collectibles) on the internet. It combines features from existing standards (ERC20 and ERC721) and aims to make it easier for different programs to work with these assets. It's currently in the experimental stage and has not undergone a full external audit, but it has been tested extensively. The idea is to enable more flexibility and new possibilities, especially for dividing and trading digital assets.
How does it work?
When you buy a full token, you get one NFT. If you sell the one full token, the NFT is burnt.
Why ERC404?
ERC404 would possibly unlock NFT liquidity. Imagine that you're able to list tokens that are at the same time NFTs.
