Only @KoalaTradingBot was affected. The custom bots for paid VIP channels recovered ok. They're the same code base but the triple failure didn't happen for them.

Yes, ccxws. It is supposed to reconnect on failure but it didn't. A backup failsafe resets the connection every few minutes but a NodeJS timer didn't go off. So, including the Binance error, 3 things went wrong at once. I'll just have to add another failsafe layer or two, and some more monitoring.

#news #protip The buttons option is now live. Set it to a list of commands you frequently use, and then you can just tap the button to run that command. Use "/set buttons na" to disable them.

If it was python I would know a library that handles the websockets extremely well. Got me over all maintenance windows, system failures (on binance side), etc

Binance had a websocket problem and for some reason the trading bot didn't recover. I restarted it and it's better now.

#news We're working on a major upgrade which allows you to drive the bot entirely (or mostly) by clicking on buttons in the Telegram interface. One breaking change in this version is that the /cbuy and /cshort commands will be renamed to /buy and /short respectively. The old buy and short commands be renamed to /qbuy and /qshort (q is for quick). The old cbuy and cshort commands will remain until people get used to the new names.
