Anyone getting L1 slots recently for Nov or dec?
I am searching frequently, but not getting any. Is there any tricks to get one?
For L1 - There is a question person travelling with you- yes/no - initially I will travel alone and then once I settle I will bring my family - shall I mention yes or no??

My L1B (Blanket) was approved on Nov 9 and I received my passport today in Bangalore. Thanks for all the valuable information and updates .
Sharing my experience here -
Biometric (27thOct - 9:00am) at Chennai VAC : Stayed at Hyatt Regency, took hotel cab and reached there by 8:30. Was allowed to go inside by showing appointment confirmation. Went straight to the first floor, staff checked my DS160 confirmation, Appointment confirmation and passport. A slip was pasted at the back of my passport. Went for the biometric at another counter.. he took my photograph and finger and thumb impression and stamped my DS160 confirmation mentioning date. It was done and I came back out by 9:00-9:05am
Things to carry -
1. Passport (I took expired passport as well but they did not ask)
2. Appointment confirmation
3. DS160 confirmation
(I took All the other relevant documents as well but was not necessary)
I did not take my phone and wallet and left them in the cab. There is no parking space nearby so cabs are generally parked away from the VAC. I asked the guy selling coconut water in front of the gate to call my driver, bought a coconut and gave him Rs.50/-. (Don't forget to write the driver's number on a paper before you go inside).
CA (9th Nov - 9:30am) at Chennai: Stayed at Hyatt Regency again, took a hotel cab and reached there by 8:45am. Left my wallet and phone in the cab. (Don't forget to take your credit/debit card and some cash, no metal and liquid is allowed not even a sanitizer) Took driver's number on a paper and kept it with the documents.
Waited 10mins in the queue on the sidewalk outside consulate. Was allowed to enter after checking appointment confirmation and passport. Post security scan, went to the first counter. Staff gave a card mentioning the order in which documents needs to be arranged.
Documents required -
1. DS160 confirmation stamped during Biometric
2. I129S (2 copies)
3. I797 only front page (2copies)
4. Demand draft (not applicable if paying by card - make sure international transactions are allowed on the card and turned on)
5. Passport
Arranged the document and gave to the guy at the counter .. he used a stapler and rubber band to sort these out and gave back to me. Proceeded to the other building where I was asked to wait for a couple of minutes. Then was asked to go to the first counter (I don't remember the number).. the staff was an Indian lady, gave her the bundle . I don't know what exactly they check but she took 2-3 minutes to give this back to me and asked me to go to the cashier. Went to the cashier counter (I think 33), paid 500$ (~42000) by credit card. He gave me 2 slips and 1 stapled on one of the I129S and 1 loose.
Post that waited for around 15 more minutes in the queue for interview. (Staff there helps you out with the process, don't hesitate to ask)
Went to the interview counter- Exchanged greetings and handed over the bundle to him.
The guy there asked me following questions -
1. Which company
2. Which city are you heading to
3. When did you join the company
4. What is your current role
5. What's your future role in the US
6. What's the need for this move
(I gave concise simple answers in 4-5 sentences for each question, very high level and waited for any follow ups but there wasn't any)
That time he said that your visa is approved, stamped my I129S first page with validity upto the date which was mentioned in i129s and gave that to me along with a green slip. Took a copy of i129+797+ passport and mentioned that I will receive it in around 5 days.
I was done at around 10:00-10:15am. Asked the coconut water guy at the corner of the street to call my driver and bought a coconut (took Rs.100/-).
Hope this was helpful. Best wishes to everybody.
Remember the way everyone sees availability is tied to number of dependants. In other words applicants with 0D shall see all slots whereas as no of dependants increase you shall see only when those many are there. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately No. Idealy consulate should take care of such things. I mean ensuring pair of OFC-CA both are available.

L1-1D for VA
But when I select any date and move forward for OFC, no date is available.
