Didn't seem complicated if you take some time to read, maybe it is just me, 👀, but thought the point of other options is exactly because you can not predict future.

When in doubt status quo. The other options all gave me shady wool over ones eyes vibe. I'm sure they were well thought out and beneficial but I'd rather just get what I get and the market decides it's value like normal

No problem, I am just explaining the reason for the decison.
The soft node staking was not a protocol feature, hence it was running on Lattice - the delegated staking on the other hand is a protocol feature thus it runs agnostic on the network and doesn't need to run on a specific platform.

yea - no i agree with what you're saying now. From the outside though, in the moment, it seemed pretty clear that soft node staking happening on ltx would be similar if any type of delegated staking came out

Yes correct - the delegated staking is a Constellation Network feature and agnostic from any platform in the ecosystem.
An idea for Lattice to leverage the delegated staking could be in providing some sort of a market place for validators to advertise their nodes to stakers :)
