The Santa suit, as we know today (red with white trims) was not used till the late 1890s when it was originally designed by Thomas Nast. The drawings showed a small, lean Santa who could easily slide down chimneys. Coca-Cola artist Haddon Sundblom created a new image of Santa Claus to market Coca-Cola in 1931, and the rotund Santa in the red suit has stayed till date!

With changing times, con artists have also developed new ways to extort money from people.
Several years ago, one particular model of scamming led to people losing crores - it worked like this: the con artist sent an email promising a reward, or stating that a relative is in urgent need of money. The recepient was told to provide certain personal information and deposit certain amount of funds. Once the deposit was done, the con artist would simply disappear!
A similar model is currently seen online this days, where the con artisits are posing as sellers, selling various latest mobile, most notably the iPhone X at Rs. 24,999. Once an interested buyer will contact them, they will ask the buyer for a deposit for processing shipment, and once that's done, the seller simply disappears, and so does the deposit!
So, if you see any deal online which is too good to be true, chances are, it may not be true at all!

What to do if a fire breaks out:
Don’t wait for a tragedy to increase your awareness:
So get into the habit of paying attention to a few things whenever you are out:
- KNOW YOUR EXITS....
There's a reason exit signs are lit up,
and why it's the first thing they talk about when you get on an airplane.
Wherever you are,
you must take a moment to see where the different exits are...
Most of the people who died in the recent fire at a popular night club in Mumbai backed themselves into an un-ventilated bathroom with no exit,
and they died from suffocation.
KNOW YOUR EXITS!!
- Taken mental note of any
Fire extinguishers or water hoses you see placed
in a restaurant/bar/hotel/anywhere.
*Be an observant person not an onlooker*
- Smoke rises,
so keep low to the ground
(even to the point of crawling on your belly)
if there is smoke in the room..
99% of deaths from fire incidents come from suffocation of smoke,
not from the actual fire.
- If you're opening a closed door trying to get out during a fire,
lightly tap the handle first to see if it is hot.
The hotter a handle/doorknob is,
the more the fire is likely to be on the other side.
- If you are trapped in a room with no exit the best thing you can do is stay low to the ground, breathe through a cloth or clothing over your mouth and nose,
and make some kind of a signal to the outside (example.... hanging a white curtain out of a window).
If there aren't windows that open...break them and try to signal for help.
We all know that
infrastructure /following the proper safe fire codes,
is not something that every establishment owner takes seriously, that’s why invest 2 minutes of your time when you’re out partying!
Go out and be crazy like normal,
just take a few minutes to be aware of your surroundings and stay safe!!
The Indian government is working on the concept of 'digital sky' for smooth, uninterrupted operations of drones. Once the policy is finalised and implemented, India could witness the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, or UAVs, for commercial purposes such as the delivery of ecommerce packages to customers doorsteps. Consequently, major ecommerce firms in the country are already gearing up to employ unmanned aerial vehicles for their services.
