It is confirmed that France, Italy, and Spain are either not interested in any military action against the Houthis, or are not going to participate in the operation at all, instead, they will either continue to operate normally within the parameters of CTF 153 or Anti-Piracy action near Somalia.
That means that France, Italy, China, Spain, and Egypt are conducting their own operations to secure their own vessels - European vessels will be secured by European ships, Egyptian vessels will be secured by Egyptian ships, Chinese ones by Chinese warships, etc...

🇬🇳 Guinea mourns after tragic explosion and fire in Conakry
In the aftermath of a tragic explosion and deadly fire at the main fuel depot in Conakry, Guinea, Colonel Mamady Doumbouya, the leader of the country, declared a three-day national mourning period on Wednesday.
The mourning is in honor of the 18 lives lost and over 200 individuals injured in the disaster.
The explosion had a severe impact on the Kaloum commune, the central hub of business in Conakry, causing significant material damage and halting economic activities. Despite the announcement of a "minimal" reopening of offices more than two days after the explosion and fire at Guinea's main fuel depot, downtown Conakry remained paralyzed on Wednesday.
A judicial investigation into alleged "willful arson" has been initiated by the Attorney General to determine the causes of the disaster and establish accountability.

🇸🇩 RSF says it has seized another key town in central Sudan
Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) claims to have seized another town and a military base in Gezira state.
The group said it “liberated the second infantry division” of Sudanese armed forces in al-Hasaheisa town.
It came two days after the group seized the state's capital Wad Madani, following days of fierce fighting with rival Sudan’s regular army.
Meanwhile, the Preliminary Committee of Sudan Doctors’ Union said 300 people were killed and tens of others wounded in days of military clashes in Wad Madani city.

The Italian government will take in 1,500 refugees and asylum seekers from Libya over the next three years, following an agreement with the UN's refugee agency.
The latest deal is an extension of previous resettlement initiatives, in which Italy evacuated 1,300 refugees and asylum seekers from Libya.
Among those who have already been resettled in the previous programmes include refugees and asylum seekers who had moved to Libya from other African countries.
UNHCR said it welcomed the evacuation deal as it provided "a critical lifeline for refugees and asylum seekers facing heightened protection risks".
