Sto testando qualche distro iper leggera per un mini pc con poca ram, processore peggio di quello integrato nel chip di un citofono e 60gb di rom.
Puppylinux mi fa sboccare, avete alternative valide? Non devo farci nulla, mi serve solo come base per spostare dati da vari hdd che ho a casa

Se sei nuovo su Linux perché hai messo Debian? Non è una distro per nuovi utenti.. fai una USB di Ubuntu, avvia in live e guarda se funziona il microfono

Se scricchiola pure a 22.5 significa che il sample rate non è il problema (infatti secondo me non lo è) ma essendo USB falla come prova..

Ciao a tutti, sono nuovo su linux e nonostante stia piano piano imparando a comprendere il sistema ho dei problemi che non riesco a capire e risolvere: ho acquistato da poco un microfono usb (entry level) per provare a parlare su discord e in videochiamata. Il problema che è venuto fuori facendo diversi test con obs e audacity sono il continuo "clipping" dell'audio dove praticamente il suono scricchiolia male. Ho Debian 12 con pipewire e gnome, tutto aggiornato all'ultima versione stabile. Ho provato ad aumentare il samplerate a 48000 Hz con " pw-metadata -n settings 0 clock.force-rate 48000 " e "//-quantum 256" ma non è cambiato nulla. Ripeto sono nuovissimo su linux quindi mi serve tempo per capire tutti i meccanismi ma non so dove mettere mano eccetto passare a windows di nuovo e mettere dual boot debian ( cosa che non vorrei fare). Spero qualcuno possa aiutarmi.
