Welcome to December’s State of r/LivestreamFail! This is a quick recap of what is going on in the subreddit and what's to come.

#LSF Political Survey Before/After Results

#We’d like to thank the community for the breadth of feedback it provided regarding LSF’s most contentious rulings. Here’s the results from [before](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSegbMtJFsSvyZTffhz5rPnl2PuW4pj7J1gPEgMNyiwgow7B-A/viewanalytics) and [after](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScHfDT3Zw-BjiyH6CokNs6uXgHuPu4g_w6Vq2ezceMxpQQSUw/viewanalytics) the Politics Event.

- Political content went from 57.2% to 63% approval.

- Hasan / Destiny content went from 58.9% to 59.4% approval.

- Gambling content was approved by 57.6% of users.

After considering the community’s feedback, LSF will have the following rule changes regarding admissible content on the subreddit.

#Update on Politics Rule

LSF will no longer have restrictions on clips with political content. The subreddit survived the Politics Event with no major issues and it's clear that users wish to see and engage with this content. When posting a clip that’s political in nature, use the new meta “Politics” flair so users that don’t want to see this content can filter it out.

#New Military Conflicts Policy

To compensate for political content on the subreddit, the LSF mod team will lock and/or comment nuke posts that devolve into discussions of current military conflicts. The mod queue gets flooded with incivility reports with these threads. Go to r/worldnews if you want to debate military conflicts.

#Update on Hasan and Destiny Rule

LSF will no longer have restrictions on any streamers interacting with each other. r/LivestreamFail should be the place to go to discuss streaming news and drama, and this rule directly opposed that mission.

#Update on Gambling Rule

LSF will no longer restrict content focused on gambling. This subreddit is already full of 18+ content, and many large streamers produce content with gambling in the background of their streams.
