This jellyfish is of medium size. The cluster of Cassiopeia Andromeda can be seen in shallow waters, in bays and lagoons protected from waves. Their yellow-brown dome with white spots, facing upwards, gently pulsates, creating ascending streams of water.

Piraputanga (Brycon microlepis) – can reach up to 50 cm long and weigh 3 kg. It feeds on small fish or pieces of fish, fruits, if they fall into the water, it can jump out of the water and pluck fruits hanging over the water from branches.
