My suspicion is that someone with a lot of money was trying to keep a peg on the price and reduce vol
Читать полностью…funny how the biggest meme coin scammer kol is hosting a rug pull call 😭😭
Читать полностью…I would assume they are indeed classifying that stuff as Opex rather than Capex since there is no meaningful capex in the chart.
Читать полностью…Nvidia is also most probably pushing a lot of R&D to Coreweave to attain better scale while distributing it across data centres
Читать полностью…Yep. Unless they mean 200 million is their GMV, which would put their revenue at around 40 million. Still quite a lot but little more believable.
Читать полностью…To be clear, I don’t want to knock on the product in case they are legit. Just find it weird that I have never come across them before and I work with LLM infra stuff.
Читать полностью…This is like Rollbit revenue who always reported fake numbers lol
Читать полностью…Well that revenue claim is certainly quite shaky if they were not just doing a bit of self-suck
Читать полностью…Rent for me is the killer
LayerZero contracts are like 6-7 SOL to deploy…
remember that Fe (not dissimilar to Rust/Python) via Yul can compile to EVM bytecode as well - you don't have to write Solidity if you don't want to
Читать полностью…mostly agree, only that Solidity will stay. the EVM is just too powerful, and Solana / PDAs are a heck to understand. I mean, even deploying a contract which you have to pay rent can costs thousands of dollars!
Читать полностью…And that they got wrekt in macro recently and were also bleeding heavily keeping this small crypto peg
Читать полностью…I think it actually make dev life easier.
No global state access , it’s a cleaner functional approach that helps to avoid pitfalls while also having performance benefits.
can anyone point me to the dapp doing this? https://x.com/ncerovac/status/1911086760236327256
Читать полностью…buying chips + setting up data centers is expensive.
Читать полностью…Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone knows of banks that can open dedicated/named accounts for crypto funds (not omnibus)?
(Setup is BVI registered and licensed investment manager and Canadian master)
[Pls delete if not appropriate]
Yeah. I am guessing it’s just them renting GPUs to themselves on a loop. Or just pure made up numbers.
Читать полностью…Because if 200 million is their revenue at a 20% commission, it would mean they have facilitated computer cycle worth 800 million. That’s a pretty big player.
Читать полностью…Oh, the revenue is fake? I tried to verify the revenue on Defillama and other sources but couldn't find anything onchain.
Читать полностью…Not as simple as solidity with their mapping in contract
Читать полностью…Solana PDA are very simple.
Not clear about the confusion.
Rust is a bit of a pita to learn but then if solidity was so easy we wouldn’t get so many hacks.
The main issue with a lot of the blockchain languages isn’t the code itself it’s the weird architecture you have to play crazy golf around.
The PDA model of solana makes it a bit of a PITA at first.
Notably when deploying you get these intermediate wallets and the first thought is, “wtf why are you putting private keys on my terminal…?!”
I personally think that solidity will be a relic of the past like COBOL where basically the only user will be Deutsche Bank because they finally deployed some 30year bond in solidity on ETH and they’re stuck with it until expiry.
The contracts imo will be written in python (not with weird decorators everywhere tho like vyper) and likely you will have the option to gas-golf / do cryptography in rust/cpp if you need
