they're different things. Equities you own fundamentals (land, equipment, depreciated assets, brand, access to staff, etc.) so there is a floor value to the price.
Tokens are made out of thin air, no legal backing that enforces ownership of real world stuff. Even with programmatic buybacks or programmatic ownership of revenue; there's always a front-end or other centralized resource (staff time, code repos, Labs, etc.) that could trivially rug the token by pointing website to code forks, etc.

Maybe this is why crypto equities perform better.

Wall st analysts are talking about Circle market size and opportunity in 2030 and how it can use its current position to reinvest into that point. There are no calls for buybacks or dividends on $CRCL currently.

In crypto people want buybacks or staking yields at TGE

prolly better protection against robbery than locked box. Ppl breaking into your house can either force lock or pressure you to open it. But this could come with a feature where if you enter a certain pin, it shows a seed phrase with little money in it, so you get plausible deniability. Although not fully sure why it's better than standard ledger device...

Probably because of the PIN, anyone can read a piece of paper or discard it as trash.

If it's real, then you can buyback/generate value

If it was fake and just a marketing hail mary prayer, going to 0 immediately vs in 3 months is not much different to investors anyway

Moving stuff around, delaying, etc. Just proves you didn't know what the token actually does, and probably shouldn't have been promising it

If it's real but the system overall just fails to get PMF, better to find that out sooner than to play games
