I don’t really argue, but I was looking for personal experience rather than a list of the web3 cities I can google. Something like “I’d go to …. because…” Maybe I phrased my question wrong way.
Читать полностью…Also why do you argue what city is good if you asked which one is good in the first place :/ Weird.
Читать полностью…is it though? i don't agree really. lived in portugal for few years. bureaucracy sucks, slow and inefficient
Читать полностью…I’m from Russia and know well what Urupinsk is😃 Also living in Berlin the last 10 years and I would definitely cross out this city from your list.
Читать полностью…I’m not sure I want to go there even if I get round easily. Can you name me few VCs based there?
Читать полностью…Hi folks, neeed a community advice. We build a security metachain, so quite hardcore infra project and planning the first fundraise early next year. I’m considering moving somewhere for a month to get connected and netowork with investors better. Which country/city would you advise that has the highest web3 VC density?
Читать полностью…Btw on Raft they did something interesting, which is to keep for themselves the unclaimed money dedicated for the hack compensation
So not only users lost 70% of their money but the team got rich out of the hack as a couple of thousands DAI got unclaimed
When called out they ignored and blocked social channels
Isn't this also due to the fact that teams with both experience and availability are extremely rare? If you are experienced and not a scammer you are working on a project and most likely have raided / are earning / are valued to a point where there is no reason to work on something else ?
Читать полностью…i wish everything was easier to navigate too ofc. we'll get there. more slowly than we'd all like, but hopefully faster than we realize
Читать полностью…Depends on bridge. Eg debridge tx are transparent e2e due to the intent fulfilment verification
Читать полностью…1 fundraising doesn’t happen inside a city really, that’s a very old concept
2 it happens inside a city in a case where you have more time to bond with local funds and founders, to create presence - then sure, kinda. some even try to spend a month or so in SF or NY this way, but idk if that really works
3 everyone is mobile these days, so you don’t have to glue yourself to a city. Just go to events which are relevant, and if you have connections, you will meet all the same people there
Also Portugal seems like attractive for starting the venture but I don’t feel it’s good for fundraising. Singapore is on my short list yes.
Читать полностью…The person was obviously trolling. Ser just ctrl+f for the biggest events of the largest chains on a year, that’s your answer. The same rule as for any industry really, nothing new. Biggest cities for venture? SF/NY, Berlin/Portugal, Singapore, Dubai…
Читать полностью…Anyone else running telegram channels and experiencing this drop in ad revenue from telegram?
Читать полностью…It’s called a clearing house and requires sufficient parties to be onboarded to make it work.
It’s already happening on card networks level - https://x.com/holyheld/status/1800138079900156236?s=46&t=7kQkn3AA1fItmOkSSfXBeg
