Right now, we’re on memes pvp market, where memes are dominating.
Previously it was ico cycles, where ico participants dropped on heads of retail.
NFTs where those who minted out collections by bots dumped in retail.
Sir, crypto is damn wild west.
But I totally respect the choice to have moral code and ethics, while playing this game

I got my hands on few mm decks, and almost everywhere they mentioned volume control, taking profits from the chart and reducing the sellers pressure.
Maybe Im wrong, but Im here to learn and get educated
in my opinion, market making is essentially about volumes control and a kind of chart manipulation

Fwiw I used to work with Evgeny at the absolute beginning of Wintermute, in the depths of the bear market, and at that time we lost a lot of business because projects didn’t understand the difference between real MM and the darker alternative. It was an uphill struggle because of the allure of the dark side for projects and the lack of understanding about the important role MM plays

isn't it called "insider trading" and is normally not allowed?
I mean, we got used to it, but "buy coins, promote it, dump it" (possibly in cooperation with others) is a bad thing
Everyone here, besides few, here to dump their bags & make money.
Their mistake was they build it as a service and talked about it publicly. But that's just because Alex is very young.
The rest market doing same thing, but hide it under other terms, do it less publicly or in legally protected way
