Also the imbalanced side earns funding fees while on jupiter that isnt the case afaik . So it makes sense to short when there are too many longs ( on gmx or HL for example

I came across the open interest distribution on Jupiter and GMX on Chaos Labs dashboard. Seems like GMX long short stays very close to 50/50 vs Jupiter is heavily skewed towards long (90:10 in the last 90 days). Both have BTC, SOL, ETH.

Does anybody here know why that might be the case? Or perhaps I should look at it differently?
