I thnk the issue you are talking about is more about "desining via consensus" where people want to keep at some kind of "EVM standard" as some holy grail, and breaking from it is seen as incredibly dangerous and not even considered

7702 seems to make the most sense - for ETH L1 and EVM compatibility. It has the most upsides comapred to downsides.
