Sometimes I regret liquidating half my crypto last year, not because of the $ lost, but because I got too much excess $ for DoorDash orders. I've gained over 80 lbs in a year and I can barely get up from the couch, I was already fat, now I'm morbidly obese. All I do is eat and speculate/trade. I'm tired bros.

I don't disagree. But running a business is prioritization sometimes, and this one comes w/ revenue implications on top of the technical ones.

DDoS: not sure, but the basics is that you can't hit the sequencer directly, only nodes that gossip, so it's handled by the RPC provider in first line, then by the p2p peering algorithm in second line

Fancy isn’t really the term. I think it’s kinda a cop out and people don’t really understand the implications. By having a single point of failure then why use blockchain in the first place?

I have felt like decentralizing the sequencer hasn't really been a priority for them, but maybe. Arbitrum is more likely to be interested by fancy tech imho, maybe you should try posting on their research forum

Via the fault proof - if the sequencer doesn't honor force inclusion within the allowed delay, any block they submit thereafter is invalid. (Yup force inclusion is via L1)

Sequencers could totally extract MEV, but don't atm. Based sequencers most certainly will. I think other ecosystem might decentralize by having governance select & eject sequencers & simply add a "no MEV" rule.

Suspect at some point soon lobs will probably need some kind of proof of humanity to avoid pysops marketing ai agents pumping their bags by semi legit comments that happen to reference some token repeatedly

@farm42 thanks for the latest opsec tweets... I got a question: why would you recommend a M2 Mac and not M1? I got a M1 Pro Max but might get a cheap M4 Mac Mini just for crypto stuff. They are pretty cheap these days.
